It’s Cornimer

Yesterday, I went out to Harv’s Island to buy some orange windflowers from Leif. While I was there, I also stopped to say hello to Cornimer. He was filling in for Tortimer, due to a…fall. 🍂

Cornimer: The Acorn Legend is back! It is I, Cornimer, and the season of ME has come again! EH HEH HEH HOORF!
It’s Corn…imer!

When I went over to Ketchup’s house, Static was also visiting her. He said if I ever feel as happy as Ketchup looks, I should bottle it. Bottled… Ketchup? 😆

Static: Havin' the time of her life. Kiddo, if you ever feel that happy, bottle it!

I found an angry-looking squirrel holding a sandwich at the campsite. 😛 It was Marshal, and I did not invite him to move in.

Marshal: Heya! Are you from around here? I'm kinda on vacation, just relaxing and focus-grouping a few things...

Later on, Wisp was in town, and I recovered his spirits for him. In return, he gave me a fluorescent light.

Tonight, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song, and he played “I Love You.” After the show, Bob walked over, and I decided to give the song to him. And he told me how he felt about me. 😛

Bob: Cool! I Love You!

In return, he gave me a red perforated-board wall. (And his undying love, of course.) 😆

Bob’s Photo

October has arrived, and the game has started to get things ready for Halloween. Jack sent me his portrait in the mail, spooky items can now be bought at the shop, and candy is available as well.

Down on the beach Sunday, I found a message bottle that had a recipe I needed: a tree-stump rug.

SWEET! I learned a DIY recipe for a tree-stump rug!

I found Pascal again while diving, and he shared some advice about not ignoring the elephant in the room. 🐘

Pascal: You gotta wonder why folks always ignore the elephant in the room. Elephants give the best advice, man.

On Monday, my savings account balance topped 69 million bells. Nice.

Savings Balance: 69,030,000 bells.

Yesterday, Saharah was in town, and I did something I haven’t done in a very long time: I bought everything she had. So I ended up with an ivory medium round mat, a black-design kitchen mat, a street-art wall, a future-tech wall, future-tech flooring, and a monochromatic wavy rug. As I was trying to look at them all, Bones barged into my house.

Bones enters my house as I look at the future-tech wallpaper and flooring.

But I was pleased to see that I could still change the wallpaper and carpeting while he was over. I like the future-tech set, and I chose to display it in my villager photo room.

Tonight, Bob asked to visit my house. Normally, I deny these requests. But since it was Bob, I accepted. And to my surprise, it paid off immediately. Bob gave me his photo!

Bob: I hope ya dig what I brought ya. It's Bob's photo!

The bad news is that Bob stuck around for a full 15 minutes. (I didn’t want to force him out.) But once he left, I put it on display. 🙂

Bob's photo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

His favorite quote was on the back of the photo: “You only live once…or nine times.” I now have photos from all of my current villagers. 🙂

Rio vs. Rio

Yesterday, Rio was telling me about her pet stag beetle, which is also named Rio.

Rio: When I caught her, she pinched my hand and it hurt SO bad!
Her name is Rio, and she pinches on the hand.

Rio the beetle pinched Rio the ostrich, and Rio called Rio a jerk. 😆

Rio: Rio's kind of a jerk, but she has a sweet name, so maybe it'll make her sweet!

Label was in town, and she wanted to see me in a theatrical outfit. She gave me a comedian’s outfit as an example, but I changed into my pirate outfit instead. She loved it, and she rewarded me with a Labelle knit shirt (and two tailor tickets, which she sent in the mail).

Label: ...A Labelle knit shirt, you see. It's from my brand. I'd love for you to have it.

Tonight, K.K. Slider was in town, and I joined him right at 6:00 for his show. He performed Forest Life for me and Midge. Great song!

Jeff and Midge attentively enjoy a K.K. Slider concert.

I found a scallop while diving, and Pascal popped up to talk about change…and dinner.

Pascal: Everything changes. Sometimes it's scary, sometimes it's a relief, and sometimes it means dinner's ready.

I gave him the scallop, and he gave me a pearl in return.
