I received my photo plate from Reese and Cyrus in the mail today. The funny part is that the instant I put the gift into my pockets, the hourly chimes went off…which sound a bit like wedding bells. 😛 But I wasn’t the only one who got the commemorative plate, because I spotted one in Hornsby’s house as well!

Rizzo the rat taught me the “inspiration” reaction today…that’s the light bulb that goes off over your head. Since that was somewhat nice of him, I decided not to put him into jail just yet. 😉

For some reason, I always think Midge is just so cute when she’s reading. She was reading on the bench right outside her house today. 🥺

In my flower garden, I noticed that my first orange pansy has bloomed.

Over by the jumping pillars, I found a lost item on the ground. I used the “investigate” option, but all it told me was that it was a bag with a simple design, made by hand. How in the world am I supposed to be able to tell who it belongs to just from that?

I asked Hornsby about it, and he suggested that it may be Tia’s. And sure enough, it was. Tia gave me an instant-muscles suit as my reward for returning the bag.

I then flew out to Harv’s island, where Harvey gave me a DIY recipe for wedding fencing. Reese actually wanted something different today: a chic set. Many of the previous wedding items can be customized with a “chic” setting, so I just spammed some of those items to please Reese.

Several new wallpapers, floorings, and rugs are now available as well. I was particularly interested in the brown wedding flooring, but the reason might surprise you. It’s orange, with brown stripes, and a white stripe down the center…it looks like a top-down version of the Cleveland Browns helmet!

So if I ever make a football or Browns themed room, I’ll probably use it for that! It sounds weird to use a wedding item for a sports room, but it fits!

I’ll have to return at least several more days to buy up all of the wedding items. I really hate the way they dragged out this event, making us repeatedly compete an annoying task day after day just to complete the furniture set. As for the room I designed, well, “designed” is probably not the best verb to use. 😛

Flick was in town, so I sold him several wasps and other bugs I caught tonight.

Rizzo was crafting in his house today, and I was surprised to learn he was crafting jail bars!

He taught me the DIY recipe, but he may end up regretting it. Because most likely, I’ll be using those jail bars on him.

It was raining today, and my first blue pansy bloomed. I also have a couple more that just sprouted up and will bloom tomorrow.

The Nook Stop had two new seasonal items today, a summer solstice crown and a winter-solstice sweater. I ordered one of each for catalog purposes.

Wisp was in town tonight, so I collected his spirits for him. I asked him for a “new” reward, and he gave me a garden faucet.

The rain had me feeling a bit gloomy, but it helped a bit when I caught a coelacanth. 😛

I took a plane out to Harv’s island, where Reese wanted to have a reception-style party. Two new items were available for me to use, the wedding welcome board and a wedding arch. Unlike in Reese’s previous requests, I was able to bring in island residents this time.

Once I was done, I was able to start the party. It reminded me of a completion ceremony, but it was Reese instead of Tom Nook giving the speech. 😛

Everybody even fired off party poppers!

When she was done with her speech, you could still watch everyone sitting at the tables. And from time to time, villagers would randomly fire off a party popper during the meal. 😛

After the party, Reese gave me a wedding arch to keep. She’s also going to send me a commemorative Reese & Cyrus photo plate. Even though you can still come back to help more, it sounds like everything has been unlocked now. I’ll just need to figure out which items I still need and buy them with heart crystals.

Last night, I wished on a few shooting stars during Friday Night Forest. Today, I found 12 star fragments and one Gemini fragment on the beach! That’s more than I expected.

Derwin was camping at the campsite today. I was surprised that he looks so different in this game. His glasses are transparent now, and it’s not white around his eyes any more.

When I visited Rizzo, he told me that gardening helps him relax. He even said that he wouldn’t be as pleasant and easygoing if not for gardening. Since when has Rizzo ever been pleasant?? 😂

I gave Hornsby my used bubblegum, and he said he would try it on later. It’ll be interesting to see if he really does!

Louie was sick with a cold, so I bought him some medicine. He started to feel better as soon as he took it, and he gave me some bunny ears as a reward.

I used the island designer app to remove the cliff I had my lighthouse on. It was preventing me from reaching fish that appeared there. So my lighthouse is back on level ground once again.

I went to check out K.K. Slider’s show, and to my surprise, I was the only one there! When I asked for a random song, he performed K.K. Waltz for me.

I made two new catches today: a mosquito and a saw shark. Naturally, I donated them both to the museum.

Out on Harvey’s island, I threw together a quick wedding ceremony for Reese and Cyrus. I got a wedding pipe organ out of it, and that’s pretty cool.
