At this point, it’s pretty rare for me to learn new D.I.Y. recipes. But I actually found a new one last Sunday! It was for some golden plate armor, and I found it in a message bottle on the beach.
On Monday, Graham the hamster was camping in Forest (for the 2nd time). He’s kinda cute, but I certainly wasn’t about to kick anyone out for him.
It was Rio’s birthday, so I made sure to attend her party. I made her some peach jam as a birthday gift, and she seemed to enjoy it.
June was also at the party, and she was happy to see me.
This was Rio’s third birthday party in Forest. Last year, Ankha was at her party…and it was Beardo the year before that. 😱
On Wednesday, Louie made a dubious claim. He said that he’s never had coffee before!
However, that’s not just a dubious claim; it’s a blatant lie. I’ve seen him having coffee at the Roost before! Busted!
Yesterday, I helped Gullivarrr find his phone in the sea. Today, he sent me a pirate wall in the mail.
Tonight, I attended K.K. Slider’s concert at the plaza. Sadly, I was the only one to show up. But K.K. performed K.K. Metal for me. It was a good show!
On Wednesday, the three big furniture spots at Nook’s Cranny were all displaying wall or ceiling furniture! That’s something you don’t see very often!
Today, I crafted a mermaid lamp and then wrapped it up. I gave it to June, and she loved it! She even gave me her photo in return! 😍
I took it home and put it on display. (I moved some NPC photos into storage to make room on these counters, though.) June’s favorite quote on the back of the pic is “Dream big, expect little.”
It’s nice to finally earn her photo! As a side note, I like how it looks like Bob and June are looking at each other. 🙂
I later wrapped up my night with a performance by K.K. Slider at the plaza. He performed K.K. Milonga for me and Rio.
I posted my latest video of online highlights today, Wi-Fi Moments #32. It features clips from my Friday Night Forest in late June, and from Sam’s party in August. I hope you’ll check it out!
Here are a few other quick notes about the past week:
Last Thursday, I sold 47 fish to C.J. for 648k. That’s a nice chunk of change.
Last Friday, I sold 25 bugs to Flick for 205k.
Last Saturday, K.K. performed “Space K.K.” for me in the plaza.
This Thursday, Flick was in town again. I sold him 7 bugs for 52k.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I’ll see you next time!
Last Saturday, Pascal popped up out of the ocean to tell me that three gallons of ice cream is too much. I have my doubts about that, but I’ll let it slide this time. 😉
On Sunday, I headed over to Sam’s town for his fireworks party. Jac and Seolfina were also there. Sam, Jac, and I were showing off our ocean sunfish, and Seolfina said she didn’t have one. But moments later, she was fishing out something with a fin, and I predicted it would be an ocean sunfish. It was!
After showing off our sunfish and twirling our umbrellas, we played a little (outdoor) hide and seek. Seolfina was “it,” and she found Sam first. But then Sam ran into me, and tried to give away my location! He wasn’t even the seeker! I got a little aggravated. 😡😆
After that, we went to the Roost for some coffee. Sam was too good to sit with the rest of us. 😛 But after we drank, I noticed that Brewster took Sam’s saucer away…but left the mug!
Of course, it disappeared shortly after that, but it was nice to witness a little lag or glitchiness. (Yes, I’m amused by things like that.) 😆
And here’s a picture of Sam, presented without context. 😛
Moments later, Matthew came over to join in the fun. We posed for some photos with the fireworks in the background. 🎆
Sam ended the session shortly after that. Thanks for the fun, everyone!
On Monday, K.K. performed “K.K. House” for me, Louie, Ketchup, Static, and Rio.
Yesterday, the game’s title screen revealed Louie walking near a dead body! Did Louie kill some poor sailor? He sure fled the scene like he was guilty! 😉
Today, Gulliver sent me another candy-skull mask…so I guess he’s not dead after all. Unless the letter was really from Louie, and the skull was Gullilver’s… 💀
Bruce the blue deer was camping at the campground. He seems pretty cool, and I wouldn’t mind having him at some point. But I’m not willing to kick anyone out for him right now.
I found a couple of cool Switch items on Amazon: This joycon charging dock has four light bars that light up to indicate the charging status of each joycon, and these colorful joycon grips look really cool too. (As an Amazon Associate, I may earn a commission from qualifying U.S. purchases.)
Yesterday, I posted a new Forest Quick Comparisons video, comparing my towns in each game. Many categories have been updated (it has been two years since the last one, after all), and I’ve added several new categories too. I hope you’ll check it out!
I’ll see you all next time. Never Stop Crossing! 🙂
