French Fried, Request Denied

On Sunday, I found a large order of French fries at the campsite. It was Frita, who may make me hungry, but I didn’t place an order for her. 😉

Frita: I kinda came out here on a lark, but this place seriously rocks. I'm in love, oh ewe!

I gathered up Wisp’s spirits for him, and he rewarded me with a wall shelf with bottles.

On Monday, Jolly Redd’s ship was in town. He didn’t have any art that I needed, but he did have this really cool standing shop sign!

Redd: Like the best zydeco albums, it's impossible to get enough of a standing shop sign.

There are a variety of things you can display on the sign, but I was more interested in displaying my patterns. It looks so much better than the plain wooden shop sign! I bought five of them to use in my castle.

Out on Lottie’s Island last night, the shop had a medieval building side for sale. It’s like a castle wall, but with a jail-bar window. That would make a good outer wall for a prison. I bought it, although I don’t plan on using it immediately. It’s always good to have things like this in storage (and in my catalog) just in case I end up getting another Rizzo someday. 😂

It says it costs 8,800 Poki for a medieval building side.

Today, Static tried to tell me that he was going to move out of town. He even asked me if his news “shocked” me. ⚡

Static: Did I shock you? I mean, I just decided here on the spot! I wanna see how I do somewhere new.

But of course, I told him not to leave. Maybe making shocking threats is his outlet for his emotions, but I have the power to keep him grounded. 😉

Flick was in town, but I didn’t have any bugs to sell him…except for one wasp that I caught tonight (for 3,750 bells).

Believe it or not, the 2nd anniversary of New Horizons is coming up on Sunday! I won’t be having an anniversary party this year, but I will be posting my annual slideshow either Sunday or shortly after.

I’ll be back with another entry soon! I need to get back to designing more houses for Paradise Planning! The fate of my castle depends on it! 🏰

Going Green

Yesterday, Gullivarrr was in town. I went diving for his phone, and I found it on my first dive.

I received my latest NookLink item in the mail, a Nook Inc. doorplate. Hopefully my neighbors won’t confuse my house for a new Nook shop. 😉

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, so I made my annual transformation into Mohawk McClover. I posed here next to some green furniture in my house.

When I ran into Bones tonight, he started yelling!

Bones: I'M YELLING! IT'S ME! I'M THE ONE YELLING!

He wasn’t mad or anything, he just wanted to practice yelling since there were no buildings around. 😛

Today, Gullivarrr sent me another pirate outfit in the mail.

I found a lost item (a book) on the ground, and I eventually returned it to Marina. She rewarded me with a garbage pail.

Marina: A garbage pail...

K.K. Slider was in town for his usual Saturday night performance, and he played K.K. Ragtime for me, Sasha, Louie, Bones, and Hornsby. It must be guys’ night. 😛

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Agent S replaced the Wii Fit trainer? Of course you haven’t. But that’s what my latest video shows: Agent S as the new host of Wii Fit S. I hope you’ll give it a watch and enjoy a laugh or two. 🙂

Coach’s Sweaty Gym

Yesterday, I received my latest Nooklink reward, a Nook Inc. balloon. It’s in the shape of Nook’s leaf logo.

Holding the Nook Inc. balloon.

Even though you can carry it around, I decided to display it next to Nook’s Cranny.

Tonight, I went out to Lottie’s Island to work. Coach was looking for a vacation house, and he said it would be fun to roll a giant ball around!

Coach: You know what'd be fun? Rolling a giant ball around!
Are you a giant dung beetle?

That certainly piqued my curiosity, and I imagined something like Katamari Damacy. But in actuality, Coach just wanted a “track-meet training grounds.” One of the items he wanted to use was an exercise ball. Somehow, that’s not what I thought he meant by a giant ball. 😞

Anyway, I wanted to make a track for him to run around on. But that was easier said than done, especially without the ability to use paths. So I just set up a bunch of cones that he can run circles around. I did use a checkered flag pattern as the finish line, but this was a pretty low-effort attempt…even by my designing standards. 😂

Coach's running track in Happy Home Paradise.

Indoors, I was sure there would be a sporty floor to use for this project…or some other flooring with a running track on it. It just seems so mind-numbingly obvious. However, I was wrong…so I just used a backyard lawn. At least the stadium wall was available. Since the indoors couldn’t be the running track either, I just filled it with a variety of exercise equipment. (I also gave him a bed and a trophy case.)

But as I was about to finish up the job, Niko barged in. I wondered if I forgot to use one of the suggested items. But Niko just wanted to tell me a new feature related to polishing furniture. He told me that I can now use different effects, not just sparkly things.

The polishing effects I can use now.

I used the “dripdrip” feature to make all of the exercise equipment drip with Coach’s sweat. 😂😂😂 It’s really disgusting now. I think Niko may regret giving me this much power. 😛

Lottie paid me 12,000 Poki for my work. I’ll see you all again soon! 🙂
