As I started up the game, I was notified that the flea market was going on today. It’s a day when you can visit your neighbors and buy their possessions, or they can offer to buy things from your house. I visited Kiki first, but she didn’t really have anything I wanted.
Next I went into Bill’s house. He had two birdcages, and I wondered if they were his kids. I asked about the one on the left, and he offered to give it to me for 770 bells. I bought it, just to cause drama in his family. (You did WHAT?!)
But then I wondered if he would sell his other kid too. I asked, but he refused! I guess we know who his favorite child is!
Static had a different way of asking me which items I was interested in: He said he wanted to know which of his items smelled the worst! But I wasn’t interested in his stuff, regardless of the dollars and scents.
I dug up three fossils today, and I donated all of them to the museum.
Since it’s Saturday night, I made sure to go downstairs and catch K.K.’s live music show. I let him pick a random song, and he performed K.K. Ragtime for me.
After that, I made a 25,000 bell payment on my mortgage. When I stepped out of town hall, I had a chat with Puddles. She asked me to pick a name for her pet fish. I chose “Gill Boy,” and she really liked the name. To thank me, she gave me a Nintendo bench!
I went home to look at it. But before I could put it down, Baabara barged into my house, looking for something to buy for the flea market! Ugh! I wasn’t interested in selling anything, so I quickly left my house, just to get rid of her.
Immediately, I went back in and ran to the back wall. I put the bench down and took a seat. Pretty cool!
But the instant I got up off of the bench, Puddles barged in. Ugh!
Flea market day is definitely not the time to hang out in your house, especially if you’re hoping to redecorate. I was done playing for the night, so I just went upstairs and went to bed (even as Puddles was still in my house). See you all next time!
I hate the flea market in Wild World! Villagers just take everything in your house!
Wow, I never knew that there was a Nintendo bench! Apparently you can get a triforce too?
The Nintendo bench along with City Folk DLC items are also available in New Leaf if you scan the Villager amiibo
That’s cool, thanks Squish!
