Lyle met me outside of my house again today. I already paid him 3,000 bells last week, so this dude needs to leave me alone! He wanted me to fill out a questionnaire. I told him I was busy, and he wasn’t happy about that.
When I stepped into Hopper’s house, I saw he was packed up and ready to move out of town. His dialogue indicated that he’s not a fan of Baabara. Anyone that dislikes Baabara can’t be that bad.
So I kept telling him to stay in town, and eventually, he agreed to reconsider.
Today was La-Di-Day once again, where villagers can propose new town tunes. Even though I’m not the mayor in Wild World, I have the ability to choose which of their songs will win. Static told me he prepared for this day by screaming at random people.
I caught my first grasshopper outside, and Rod applauded the effort.
I also caught my first pondskater, which was walking on a nearby pond. So I took my new catches to the museum, where Blathers was talking about shaving the pondskater’s feet.
When I circled back around to my house, Lyle came out from behind my house and started following me! He’s just stalking me now! I need to file a restraining order against him.
Even though lots of animals were talking about La-Di-Day, Big Top was the only one who actually sang a song for me. I went ahead and hired him, just to be nice.
When I visited Kiki, I saw that she is finally over her cold. But she didn’t give me a reward or even thank me, even though I bought medicine for her five times!
Once I was done making my rounds, I did a little more fishing and bug-catching. But unfortunately, I didn’t catch anything else new. I made a 30,000 bell mortgage payment at town hall and then wrapped up my evening.
