I got another letter from Lyle today, sending me 100 bells for my latest bee sting. Speaking of Lyle, he was also hovering around my house again today. I just ignored him.
Near Kiki’s house, I found another four-leaf clover! Two times in a row? That’s unusual. I don’t need them though, so I ended up selling them both.
I found a note in a bottle on the beach, and it had a daily horoscope inside. Of course, I don’t know what day it was for, since it’s presumably been in the ocean for a long time. 😛 But it said I’ll run around like a shovel-wielding maniac wearing a hockey mask. What kind of horoscope is that? I’d be doing that regardless.
Joey was finally over his cold, so he thanked me for “saving his life.” He rewarded me with some steel flooring.
After Puddles greeted me with an unusual compliment, she reminded me that Yay Day is tomorrow. She wants me to shower her with compliments. But I won’t be participating this time.
Over by town hall, Hopper asked me for a new catchphrase. Don’t judge me. But I told him to say “if I fart.” 😛 He thought it sounded a bit too cheerful.
I continued speaking to him, trying to get him to use his new catchphrase in a variety of sentences. So he was talking about migratory locusts, and he said they wig out if he farts.
But eventually, he got tired of talking. He told me to go far, far away…if he farts. 😀
He asked me to make a delivery to Kiki for him, and I agreed to help out. When I returned, he thanked me by giving me his sword.
I think I have too much fun with catchphrases sometimes. 😀
I was playing during the daytime today, because I was looking for something specific…and I found it! At long last, I have finally caught an orchid mantis!
I donated it to the museum right away. I checked on my bug collection, and I still need eight more insects. That’s a higher number than I was expecting. But I’ll still complete the collection some day.
I ran into Kiki again, and she had a very nice surprise for me: She gave me her picture! She’s lived in town for a very long time (almost since the beginning), and she’s always been one of my favorites. So it’s nice to finally receive her picture. 🙂
Rod bumped into me, and he gave me a bone shirt. Since Rhonda has been looking for new clothes for weeks, I decided to give her the bone. Now she’s all ready for Halloween!
When I returned home, I put Kiki’s pic in the room upstairs.
This is my sixth villager picture. The quote on hers is “Hang in there, kiddo.”
I have Kiki in both Wild World and City Folk. I want Kiki’s pic too because I do like her. Still trying for Frobert’s. Frobert is my number one favorite Animal Crossing villager of all time. I have Poncho’s pic as well as Bella’s and Walker’s. I have Frobert and Poncho in both Wild World and New Leaf and Poncho is my best friend in both games. In City Folk, my two jock villagers are Drift who is a frog like Frobert and Rowan the tiger who was originally a cranky islander in Gamecube. I have Jeremiah the frog in City Folk, as well as two cranky wolves, Lobo and Fang. Fang is my newest neighbor in City Folk and is Peggy the peppy pig’s replacement. Let me know if you are more of a Frobert fan or a Poncho fan. What is your favorite personality type in Animal Crossing? Mine is jock and my New Leaf town has all jock villagers.
I think I prefer Frobert over Poncho. As for personality types, I’m not sure if I have a favorite. I guess if I had to choose, I might go with lazy villagers. Snooties are probably my least favorite.
