Hopper gave me a free gift tonight, a stadiometer. But in true Hopper fashion, he managed to be a jerk even as he was being nice.
There was a new Message of the Week posted on the bulletin board near town hall. It said that a little learning can’t hurt, except at Pain State.
I found a new house in town, and Bud the lion was inside. He just moved in. I’ve had him in City Folk before; he’s alright, but not one of my favorites.
Crazy Redd was in town, and I bought a solemn painting from him. It turned out to be real, so I donated it to the museum.
I only need seven more works of art! Of course, my museum still needs some fish and bugs too, so I’ve still got a ways to go before the whole thing is complete.
The three apple trees I planted last time haven’t matured yet, but my original apple tree has produced another bunch of apples. I chopped down three more orange trees and planted the apples in those spots. That should give me seven apple trees… Not bad, but I want more.
I made a 15,000 bell mortgage payment at town hall before returning home.
I just thought of a fish in Wild World that I need to try to catch. It is the stringfish. It is available from 4 pm to 9 am from December to February. If you didn’t catch one, it is a rare fish with a big shadow. Bud seems like a cool villager and I read your talking tuna blog post. I think you should try to catch the tuna and the stringfish if you can.
Oh yeah, I need the stringfish too! Thanks for the reminder.
Bud isn’t one of my favourite villagers either. (Also yes, I have a new username)
