The first fishing tournament of 2018 was held today, and I decided to participate (since I usually don’t). In fact, this is only my second time participating in Wild World’s fishing tourney. I went over to town hall and had a quick chat with Tortimer.
He said the largest fish wins, and he also said I’ll get a prize if I beat my personal best.
After catching a squid, I took it to Tortimer. He measured it (15 inches), and then he laughed at me. He informed me that Big Top already caught a tuna that measured 89.1 inches. Well, shoot.
I wasn’t liking my chances. Still, I fished a bit more. I caught a sea bass, and took it to Tortimer to see how it compared. It was only 41.3 inches. So I basically gave up at that point. Even though I did fish a little while longer, I knew I wasn’t going to win. Why can’t the Wild World tournaments be as easy as my New Leaf tournament was yesterday? 😛
I returned home and checked my mail. The snowman I built yesterday sent me a letter, along with a snowman sofa. I added it to my main room.
A new “Talking to Myself” message was posted on the bulletin board. Sounds like somebody likes to purposely make her sister mad. 😛
Since I just played yesterday, it was too soon for any apples to be on trees. So I didn’t make very much money today. Even though I was fishing for a while, none of the fish I caught were worth much. So I only had 20,000 bells to pay towards my mortgage this time.
I plan on playing again on Tuesday, but I may or may not post another blog entry at that time. If nothing much happens, I may wait until Saturday to post the next entry.
