On Saturday, I received another letter from Boondox. This one said that my donation helped them complete their town’s irrigation system. Again, no gift was enclosed this time.
When I spoke with Big Top, he told me I was brilliant and alluring. That sounded great, until he compared me to a handkerchief?! What???
At the Roost, K.K. Slider played some salsa music for me. After the show, I took the recording home and put it in my stereo.
I played again today, and I got a letter from the postal division at town hall. I earned 250 bells in interest on my bank account.
Crazy Redd was in town, selling a nice painting. I didn’t need it.
At town hall, I made a 100,000 bell donation to the town of Boondox. Pelly told me they will use the money to build a well. That means one thing: Mud baths for all!
I then listened in on a conversation between Big Top and Kiki, and Big Top was describing a dream he had. He was a big movie star, so he was at all these parties with a bunch of famous actresses.
He mentioned that Kiki was in the dream too, so Kiki asked if she was a famous actress. But Big Top said she was just in the kitchen, cooking mango cream. Kiki’s reaction surprised me; she called Big Top a stupid, sexist jerk!
When I visited Bud, I noticed something about his house. He had no furniture, only fish! Big Top must have given him some interior design tips. 😛
Back outside, I caught my first popeyed goldfish! I immediately donated it to the museum.
I continued fishing for a little while, but I didn’t catch anything else new or good. Well, I did fulfill Hopper’s request by giving him a crucian carp; he rewarded me with a bamboo wall.
Just a heads-up that I’ll be having a new Wild World video (Ep. 14) coming later this week. It will be posted to my Youtube channel, although I’ll also include it in the next blog entry as well. Have a good day or night, and I’ll see you next time!
You may have missed out on a few feathers; the letters from Boondox you’ve been receiving are not the ones that go with whatever Pelly or Phyllis mentioned going on there. When you give more than what was needed at that time (and yes I know an exact amount is never stated, which is annoying), it automatically credits you for the next… mission? No, it doesn’t give you all the feathers you’d have otherwise accumulated at once.
I’ve been checking Thonky’s Boondox Guide, and according to it, I haven’t missed any yet. Although I should be getting another feather next time.
Well, it *has* been forever since I played Wild World so my memory’s a bit fuzzy. I apologize.
No problem. 🙂
I thought this game was supposed to be rated everyone. Kiki broke that though
I’m excited for the new episode! Nice job on the pop-eyed goldfish.
