On Saturday, I found a note in a bottle. It was actually a help-wanted ad from the Animal Crossing team! They were looking for adventurers to fish and pick fruit for up to 800 bells an hour.
Big Top was still sick, so I gave him some medicine once again. And at the Roost, K.K. Slider played some reggae for me.
Tom Nook had some new dialogue for me. He said that Harriet approached him and said that he would look good in a petriperm.
Tom Nook didn’t know what she meant, but he pretended that he did.
He said Harriet just laughed and laughed.
I played again today, and Big top was over his cold. He thanked me for the medicine and gave me a backyard fence.
I listened in as Bud and Hopper had a conversation about…nose hair. I didn’t want to get tangled up in that.
Crazy Redd was in town, and he had an opulent painting for sale. I didn’t need it.
There was a new Message of the Week on the bulletin board: Blood is thicker than water.
I went into town hall to check on my town status. Pelly told me that there were too many items on the ground. That’s because of my pitfall seed collection near the gate. I’ll need to clean those up sometime soon.
When I went into Nookington’s, Tom Nook informed me that he finally figured out what a petriperm was. It’s short for “petrified perm,” where the hairdresser gives you very tight curls. Tom Nook thought he’d look like a clown if he had one.
There was a new house in town, and Margie the elephant was inside. She seems nice.
Curly asked me to deliver a gift to Baabara, and the package contained a nurse’s uniform! Interesting. When I returned to Curly, he rewarded me with 500 bells.
My town is about a year and a half old, and I still have much I want to do. My goals are to complete the museum, to complete Boondox, and to achieve perfect town status.
I also want to shoot stuff down with my slingshot. Not only the UFO and Pete, but I haven’t even shot down a balloon present yet! Without a shadow on the ground, it’s so hard to judge the distances of whatever appears on the top screen. I’ll do it eventually, though.
Stuff floating in the air are always north in the town, thank me later.
