Kabuki Moves In

When I spoke with Big Top tonight, he was saying “I love you, I love you not…” over and over. I thought he was talking about me, but apparently he loves green peppers…not.

Big Top: I love green peppers not.
We have something in common.

As I tried to walk past Big Top’s house a moment later, Teddy was blocking the way. I pushed my way through, and I upset him! I wasn’t trying to be rude, but he wouldn’t let me pass!

If you don't stop pushin' me, I'll be forced to break out the bicep cannons!

Crazy Redd had a scary painting for sale this week; I didn’t need it.

Jeremiah asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “in a pond,” so I told him to say “frogger” instead.

Jeremiah: Cool! From now on, I'm gonna say frogger when I swoop into a room!

Bree told me I didn’t have a distinct personal style, so she said I should form a band and play samba music for her to dance to! So how would that be my personal style if it’s just what she wants?

Bree: You should form a band and play samba for me to dance to.

Gaston’s replacement has moved into town, and it’s Kabuki the cat. I like Kabuki in general, but he did seem a bit rude as I introduced myself to him.

Kabuki: Look, I wanna get this whole thing over with! So just stay outta my way!

Sometimes the Wild World versions of characters are less likable than the versions in other games, so I’ll have to see if that holds true with Kabuki or not. But I’ll try not to let this first impression ruin things; I’ll give him a chance.

Rest in Pete

Last week, I tried to do something I hadn’t done in Wild World yet. I got my slingshot and went looking for Pete! He can come at 9 a.m. or 5 p.m., on days when there’s not another visitor in town. I was ready and waiting for him, and my very first shot hit the target. I got him!

Pete gets hit with a pellet from my slingshot in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
“Squawk!”

He fell to the ground and died.

Pete lies on the ground in ACWW.
R.I.P.

He wasn’t really dead though. He stood up and introduced himself as the mail carrier in town, and he wondered who would randomly shoot a slingshot up into the sky. He didn’t exactly accuse me of it, but I think he had a good idea who shot him down. 😛

Pete: I said I'm not a pigeon!

He also said that someone gets mad if the mail delivery is late, but he wouldn’t tell me who. Uh, I’m guessing Phyllis?

Pete: If I'm even a little late, a certain someone gets upset. But I won't tell you who.

I played again today, and I was surprised to find a goodbye letter from Gaston in the mail.

It's good-bye, Jeff, Hey, I moved! Yeah, sorry for not telling you where I'm going, but you'll just cry or something. Free at last, Gaston

Even though I tried checking all the houses when I played last week, Gaston was still sleeping. So I didn’t get to catch him in time to save him. Oh well.

Crazy Redd had a lovely painting for sale today, but I didn’t need it.

I found a note in a bottle on the beach, and it came from “Hayseed Hilda.” She wanted someone to share some apples with her, since there aren’t any in her town.

I crave apples! What kind of backwater town doesn't have apples?! Mine! It would be great if someone shared theirs... -Hayseed Hilda

A new “Message of the Week” was posted to the bulletin board. It said that laughter is good medicine, but burping is just rude.

*Message of the Week* Laughter is good medicine. Burping is just rude.

Bree was still sick, so I gave her some medicine once again.

My latest video has been posted, and it shows 11 of the exclusive features found only in Animal Crossing: Wild World. This includes footage of me shooting down Pete, as well as events like the Acorn Festival, Flower Fest, Bright Nights, and more. I hope you enjoy it!

Green Thumb Winner

I played on Sunday to check on my flowers and water any wilties. I found another black tulip, so I moved it next to my other dark hybrids.

My final flower garden before Flower Fest 2019 judging.
Note: Kiki is not one of my dark hybrids.

Jeremiah was hoping he’d be the one to take home the sparkly trophy…in a pond.

Jeremiah: I tell you, I'd really like to take the sparkly trophy home, in a pond.

Yesterday, I checked my mail and…guess what? I got a letter from Mayor Tortimer, declaring me the Green Thumb! He judged my garden to be the best, and I won the Flower Fest for the first time! 😀

Flower Fest: Jeff has won the Green Thumb! Your garden really blew us away. Not a single flaw! -From Mayor Tortimer

Attached to the letter, I found a flower trophy! I didn’t even realize that Jeremiah was serious about the trophy. I put the flower trophy in my house.

Jeff stands next to his flower trophy for winning the Flower Fest and being named Green Thumb.

With that done, I put my hybrid flowers (at least my purple and black ones) back into storage for future use.

I played again tonight, and I noticed that my win was also posted to the bulletin board.

**Final Results** The biggest blossom of the Spring Flower Fest is Jeff's garden! Way to go!!

Big Top wanted to move out, and I changed his mind. Outside of town hall, Crazy Redd had a perfect painting for sale; I didn’t need it. It was a pretty average, uneventful Tuesday.

Bree was sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine.

Bree: Hm... I'm feeling a little better, baconballs.

That’s all I have for now, but I hope you all enjoyed the Flower Fest! Max Powers already commented that he won his Flower Fest, so congrats to him! Anyone else win? Feel free to leave a comment and/or send me a picture of your winning gardens and maybe I’ll add it to this entry.

Have a great day!
