Last week, I tried to do something I hadn’t done in Wild World yet. I got my slingshot and went looking for Pete! He can come at 9 a.m. or 5 p.m., on days when there’s not another visitor in town. I was ready and waiting for him, and my very first shot hit the target. I got him!
He fell to the ground and died.
He wasn’t really dead though. He stood up and introduced himself as the mail carrier in town, and he wondered who would randomly shoot a slingshot up into the sky. He didn’t exactly accuse me of it, but I think he had a good idea who shot him down. š
He also said that someone gets mad if the mail delivery is late, but he wouldn’t tell me who. Uh, I’m guessing Phyllis?
I played again today, and I was surprised to find a goodbye letter from Gaston in the mail.
Even though I tried checking all the houses when I played last week, Gaston was still sleeping. So I didn’t get to catch him in time to save him. Oh well.
Crazy Redd had a lovely painting for sale today, but I didn’t need it.
I found a note in a bottle on the beach, and it came from “Hayseed Hilda.” She wanted someone to share some apples with her, since there aren’t any in her town.
A new “Message of the Week” was posted to the bulletin board. It said that laughter is good medicine, but burping is just rude.
Bree was still sick, so I gave her some medicine once again.
My latest video has been posted, and it shows 11 of the exclusive features found only in Animal Crossing: Wild World. This includes footage of me shooting down Pete, as well as events like the Acorn Festival, Flower Fest, Bright Nights, and more. I hope you enjoy it!
Man what is up with all these bottle notes that were produced by Nintendo? Like Iām legitimately starting to wonder if the bottle system ever actually existed even when WiFi was around or if it was all just a ruse
I wonder if you’ll do that rePETEdly.
Haha, probably not. You don’t get a reward for it, so it’s just a novelty thing…even though it was funny to hear Pete squawk when he gets hit. But I could just watch the video again if I want to hear it. š
