Today is Mother’s Day, and I received a letter from Mom in the mail. Basically, she wanted to know why she was writing me instead of me writing to her!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
I found a note in a bottle on the beach, from a big brother to a little brother. He says that Mom worries about them both, so they should go home for a visit. It almost sounds like it could be a Mother’s Day-related note, but I’m not sure if it is or not.

Today was also Bunnie’s birthday, so I hopped on over to her party. I gave her a modern chair that I bought at Nookington’s. She really seemed to enjoy it, and she gave me a cabana screen.

Mathilda was also at the party, which is getting to be a common sight. She was also at Margie’s party (this year and last year) and also Victoria’s party last year. Maybe she’s Forest’s party planner.
There was one aspect of birthdays that Bunnie didn’t care for, though: She’s afraid that she won’t be cute when she grows up. Aww, poor Bunnie, don’t worry. You’ll still be cute!

Goldie wanted to move out of town for some reason, but I was able to talk her out of it (after several tries).
Antonio wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a common butterfly first, and I agreed to the challenge. I just didn’t know how hard it would actually be! Perhaps because of how few flowers I currently have in town, I had trouble finding butterflies. And when I did see one, it was a yellow butterfly or a tiger butterfly, not the white “common” one.
So it took me more than 20 minutes, but I did eventually catch the common butterfly. I returned to Antonio, and thankfully, he didn’t catch one yet…so I won. He gave me an exquisite rug as my prize.

I posted my latest Wild World video episode today. It features highlights of things that happened in Forest from the end of December through early April. I hope you enjoy it!
