Wishy Came Through

On Monday, I received the letter from Wishy that I was expecting.

To the wisher, Jeff, I heard a small voice call to me one lonely night. It made me happy...so I will grant your wish! -From Wishy the Star

Attached to the letter was a fine painting! That’s one of the two paintings I still needed! Wow! Wishy came through, and my wish came true! 😀

Moments later, I found a four-leaf clover. I guess it really was my lucky day. 😛

WAHOO! I got the four-leaf clover!

At the museum, I donated my new painting. It’s looking fiiiiine!

Fine painting. Donor: Jeff

I now only need one more painting, and it’s the most famous of all: the Mona Lisa.

Today, Deena wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a horse mackerel first. Since that’s a common fish, I agreed to the challenge, and I caught the fish pretty quickly. When I took it back to Deena, she rewarded me with a giant dharma.

Olivia is still sick, so I gave her some more medicine Monday, yesterday, and then again today.

Olivia: Ohh... I don't feel so good. I think I'm gonna barf. No, I'm OK. I think. I'm so sick!
I’m sick of you being sick.

That makes a total of six doses of medicine I’ve given her in the past two weeks, so I feel like I’ve done more than my share to help. If she keeps this up, I may just have to let her die. 😛

When I spoke with Roscoe, he said I must think he doesn’t have many friends. Well, no, I didn’t think that, and I’m not one to judge someone on how many friends they have. But he called me wrong anyway, and said that even though he doesn’t get along with Hugh…

Roscoe: Well, you're wrong, as usual! Sure, Hugh and I are like oil and water, but...

He insisted that he gets along deliciously with everyone else. 😛

Roscoe: ...all my other relationships are like oil and vinegar! Delicious, nay!
Oil and vinegar don’t exactly stay mixed for very long either… so your friendships must only last long enough to eat a salad. 😛

Up at town hall, Pelly says she caught Pete staring at her, and she’s convinced this is the start of a romance. Poor Pelly, she never learns.

Pelly: This is the start of a romance! I'm sure of it!
