Yesterday, I received Roscoe’s goodbye letter in the mail.
Hugh asked me if I liked Pelly or Phyllis better. I told him I prefer Pelly, and he told me that his preferences is…bananas. 🙄
There was a spotlight product at Nookington’s, and it was an Arwing (the spaceship from Star Fox). It was 5,760 bells, and I bought it; it’s a pretty cool item!
Bob wanted to compete to see who could catch a sea bass first. I caught one pretty quickly, and I took it back to him. He gave me a ranch couch as my prize for winning.
At town hall, Phyllis told me that Pelly has been creative lately, spending a lot of time writing. Pelly shows Phyllis her essays and poems, but Phyllis doesn’t like the stuff. She says it’s too sentimental. Somehow I’m not surprised that Phyllis doesn’t “get it.” 😛
Peanut has still been sick with a cold, so I gave her some more medicine yesterday and then again today.
Pascal was standing on the shore today, and he told me that lifeguards are always mistaking him for a shark! 🦈
He then gave me a ship cannon before diving into the ocean and swimming away.
There was a new house for Roscoe’s replacement today, and I was thrilled to find Butch inside! He’s one of my favorite dogs in the whole series!
At town hall, Phyllis had some more dialogue. She was talking about the “Talking to Myself” posts on the bulletin board: She said the reason people are talking to themselves is because they’re saying things that should be kept secret.
So it sounded like she was criticizing the author of those posts, which makes it seem like Pelly (not Phyllis) is the one that writes them. Especially since this dialogue comes the day after discussing the fact that Pelly is the one who has a creative side when it comes to writing. Interesting.
I then returned home to take a look at my Arwing and ship cannon. They’re both large items, but I was disappointed that the cannon doesn’t actually fire. 😛
And now I want to make a room with Pascal’s items. 😛 Unfortunately, I don’t have them all yet, so the cannon is going into storage for now.
See you next time!
