Today, I found a goodbye letter from Anchovy in the mail. He left without warning, and I’m sad to see him go after such a short stay in town (less than four months). But at least he gave me his photo two weeks ago to remember him by.
Bones was talking about starting a bowling club here in Forest, but he said that people are so flaky that they’d probably never actually meet up. That’s probably true. 😆
Goose was walking around in the rain holding a net, and he was talking about catching moths. But he warned me to stay out of his way because this was his turf!
Even though this was right outside his house, I had no interest in his moths. Besides, it was raining, so there aren’t even any moths out! Bug off, Goose.
Speaking of “Bug-Off,” there’s one coming up on Sunday. When I ran into Bones again near town hall, he told me he was preparing for it. He only hoped that the bugs could get his “excitenet.”
After a quick stop at Wolfgang’s house, I encountered Bones and Goose again, this time in a conversation with each other. Bones was telling Goose that they looked alike, and always talked about working out, so they must both be in love with themselves. 😆 He didn’t sound sincere though, and it sounded like he was making fun of Goose (since Bones is a lazy villager, not a jock).
Goose was getting mad at Bones, and he even called him a jerk. 😆
I was just laughing because it’s usually Goose that’s being a bully. He can dish it out, but he can’t take it. He always calls me lame for not wanting to catch his stupid bugs, and of course what he said earlier didn’t help my opinion of him either. If it’s Bones vs. Goose, I’m always on Team Bones. 💯
There was no UFO at 10:22 or 10:27 (and I was outdoors at both times), so I figured there would be no spaceships today. But that assumption was wrong. At 10:37, it came flying overhead from east to west. I was not prepared for it, but for once, I was actually able to get my slingshot out in time to shoot it down!
I woke him up and retrieved his five UFO parts for him. In return, he gave me a plate armor (again). Since I already have one in my Gulliver room, I put this one into storage.
Even though there weren’t any moths out tonight, I did catch two bugs that are (much) better: A goliath beetle and a rainbow stag. I sold them, and I was able to get my savings account balance up to eight million bells.
See you all next week! Never Stop Crossing! 🙂
