Refridgerizer

Saharah was in town on Wednesday, and she asked me to deliver a rug to Phyllis and then a carpet to Mabel. Saharah then offered me some ringside seating (wallpaper) or a closed road (flooring). I chose the latter, just because I don’t think I’ve had it yet in this game.

Saharah: Do you want ringside seating or a closed road?

Yesterday, I shot down Gulliver’s UFO in the rain! I started looking for his UFO pieces, and I returned to him after I found the first one. He told me he could use it to fix his ship’s cooling unit, known as his Refridgerizer.

Gulliver: My Refridgerizer keeps my ship's engines...and my beverages...quite cool.
Ah, yes, the priorities of space travel. Cold beverages. 😉

Once I found all the rest of the pieces and returned them, Gulliver rewarded me with a pagoda. Unfortunately, that was the third pagoda he’s given me, so I had no need to keep it.

Tonight, without even specifically looking to hunt for bugs, I spotted (and caught) a goliath beetle, an atlas beetle, and a scorpion. Together, I sold them for 22,000 bells. You gotta love summer nights. 🙂

It's...GOLIATH!

Wolfgang asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “nutty,” which I’m trying to eradicate from the vocabulary of anyone that’s not a squirrel. I wanted him to threaten people with “I’ll eat you,” but that wouldn’t fit. So I just told him to say “for lunch” instead.

Wolfgang: Truly great stuff stands the test of time. Like fossils, for lunch!
Maybe if you were a Goron.

Bones has still been sick with a cold this week, so I gave him some medicine Wednesday, yesterday, and then again tonight. Hopefully he’ll be over his cold soon.

Have a good weekend, everyone! I’ll see you next time!

Sugar Packets

On Wednesday, Wolfgang told me that even though I bug him sometimes, he doesn’t want to ever fight with me. That was kind of nice of him. 😛

Wolfgang: Even though you bug me sometimes, I don't ever want to fight with you.

At town hall, Phyllis told me that she recently poured a cup of instant coffee for Pete, to be nice. But she got mad when Pete put ten packets of sugar in it. 😄

Phyllis: Then, grinning like a moron, he proceeded to pour ten sugar packets in it!
I’m Pete. 😛

Phyllis said it was like coffee syrup, and she says that she felt sick. It’s not like she has to drink it that way! Let people enjoy what they like!

Phyllis: I felt sick just watching him. (Ugh... Total barf city.)

Bones has been sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine Thursday, and then again today.

Lyle was hanging out around my house today, bugging me to fill out a questionnaire. I actually haven’t seen him in a while, because it’s not often that I play on Saturday afternoons. It’s usually at night, when I play on Saturdays at all.

Lyle: got a questionnaire. Fill it out. No sweat, right? Sure. Rewarding. Do it. Do it now.

The flea market was underway, and Caroline was deflated when I told her I didn’t want to buy anything. 😛

Caroline: Well, excuse me for thinking you'd be interested in trying something new!

So when I visited Eloise, I told her I was interested (even though I wasn’t). But when she told me to pick an item, I went to her pill bug. And fortunately for me, she thought it was too lovely to sell. 😛

Eloise: Don't you find the pill bug lovely? Just like me!

Believe it or not, Caroline and Eloise were the only two villagers selling things. That’s because the other two indoor villagers were either sick (Bones) or trying to move out (Mitzi, but of course I didn’t let her leave).

Wolfgang was telling me this is the day I should get rid of my old junk, even though it fits right in, since my house is a big junk pile anyway! Wow!

Wolfgang: Well, I bet it would all look great in your house, since it's a big junk pile anyway!

I thought he didn’t want to fight with me, but he’s asking for it now!

In town hall, I found a satellite in the recycle bin. Wonder if I could find a way to drop it on Wolfgang somehow. 😛
