On Wednesday, Phyllis told me that she saw something outside in the middle of the night. She said it was white, and it dived into a bush to hide when she looked out of the window.
She said it was “him.” (Meaning Pete, apparently.)
Today, there was a new “Talking to Myself” message about pinecones posted to the bulletin board.
I guess the author doesn’t like fruit? Or am I missing the point of this one? 🤔 Unless it’s just an odd way of welcoming autumn. 🍂
I shot down Gulliver’s UFO today, and I went over to talk to him. I learned that his UFO parts spawn the very instant that he thanks you for helping him out. That’s because one of them suddenly appeared on-screen as I was still talking to him.
I began my search for the other UFO parts, and I found the first four parts quickly. But the 5th one? I was seriously struggling to find it. I went around town about five times looking for it! I even found my long-missing 3rd fossil. But as I prepared to take a break by going into the museum to identify my fossils, I saw it. It blended in with the gray stones at the entrance. Oof.
That took me much longer than I would’ve liked. Probably longer than it ever has taken me. But I had all five UFO parts, and Gulliver rewarded me with a Moai statue! Not only is it one of the better Gulliver items, but it was an item I didn’t have yet! I’m glad all that searching wasn’t just for another duplicate item. 😆
I’ve checked a couple of lists/guides, and it seems that I only need one more Gulliver item: the tribal mask. Interestingly enough, the tribal mask was the last Gulliver item I got in City Folk too! (link)
