Thursday night, Peanut wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a cricket first. Since crickets are common, and since they were actually out at the time, I agreed to the challenge. It didn’t take me long to find one, and Peanut wasn’t happy that I caught one so quickly. 😛
But she did keep her word and give me a prize for winning: an exquisite rug.
Wolfgang asked me to deliver a gift to Caroline, so I took the package to her. It was a security shirt, and Caroline wasn’t thrilled with it. When I told Wolfgang the news, he said the gift went over like a lump of lunch meat. 😆 I never would have thought to put it that way, but I like that crazy analogy.
Wolfgang rewarded me with a parquet floor.
At 10:07 p.m., I shot down Gulliver’s UFO for the second time this month. The UFO didn’t nearly crash on anyone’s head this time, but there was still something interesting that happened. After I got done talking with Gulliver, one of the UFO parts spawned right under my feet! I didn’t move an inch, I just found myself standing on it as soon as Gulliver’s speech bubble closed. Definitely the easiest UFO part to find, ever. 😆
After I found the rest of the UFO parts, I returned them to Gulliver in exchange for a Metroid. It’s a good item, but I’ve already earned two of them before. I don’t have enough storage, so I just sold this one.
Tonight, K.K. Slider was in town. I headed down to the Roost for his show, and he performed K.K. March for me. I generally don’t think of that song as being particularly good, but it sounded better than I expected. Not bad at all. K.K. hit all of his notes. 🎶
Mitzi was trying to move out of town, but I spoke with her repeatedly until she finally reconsidered.
