Saharah was in town yesterday, and I helped her out with some deliveries. I took some wallpaper to Mabel, some carpeting to Pelly (for Phyllis), and a carpet to Tom Nook.
Saharah rewarded me with an ancient wall, which I chose over a sandlot.
Speaking of a sandlot… I visited Dotty, and I saw that she was already trying to desert me! 😛
However, I talked her out of moving. She must be a fan of my dry sense of humor. 😉
Eloise asked me to make a delivery to Tank, so I took over the gift (a U R here shirt). Tank put it on right away, and he loved it!
Eloise rewarded me with a backyard fence.
On the bulletin board, I saw a post that announced Tank was the winner of the Flower Fest. Congrats, Tank!
Today, Lyle met me outside of my house to harass me again. I decided, for the sake of completion, to finally buy his last set of insurance. Just to be done with it, you know? First, he asked me about Crazy Redd, and he gave me the option to change the day of the week that he visits. I kept him on his Tuesday schedule, even though it doesn’t really matter any more.
He asked me some questions, including whether or not I trusted him. (No way!) He eventually got to the point: He wanted me to pay 6,000 bells for so-called damage insurance.
If I purchase a painting that turns out to be a forgery, Lyle will pay me a percentage of the damages. Of course I don’t even buy paintings any more, so it’s even more useless than it would’ve been earlier in the game. But I bought it anyway. Now hopefully he’ll leave me alone. 😛
Dotty again wanted to know my blood type, and I answered “B” this time. Just to see what she says for each option. She assumed that I’m the type that saves my money and doesn’t spend much. There’s some truth to that. 😛
She told me I need to chill out and enjoy life. 😛 And then she suggested that I let her hold onto all my money! Never!
Over at town hall, I found two items in the recycle bin: An exotic lamp and a tall lantern. It’s not very often I find anything in here, let alone two items at once! I’ll gladly take them and sell them. 😛
Have a good weekend, everyone. I’ll see you next time! 🙂
