The flea market is coming up soon, and Drift told me that he wants to buy some new dumbbells and a Glute Displacer.

So he said I better buy a lot from him, because Glute Displacers aren’t cheap!

Wendell was in town yesterday, but I actually didn’t speak with him this time. However, I liked how Booker mentioned his appearance…

I love how he’s not entirely sure if that large walrus he saw was real or not. What exactly is going on in his head that is making him question it? Is he afraid to turn to Copper and say “Whoa, dude, did you just see a walrus with an easel and art supplies walk by just now?”

Curt has still been sick this week, so I gave him some more medicine Wednesday, yesterday, and today. Get well, already!

Outside of town hall tonight, Whitney told me that Bones picked up a harmonica.

I didn’t know what she was talking about at first, but she said he found it in the recycling bin. Okay, well at least that makes sense…except for the fact that this game doesn’t have a harmonica. Oh well.

Tank asked me to make a delivery to Caroline, and the gift was a blue diamond top. She wasn’t exactly thrilled with it.

I returned to Tank and told him that Caroline just thought the gift was okay. He thought it was weird that she didn’t love it. But he still rewarded me with an illusion wall.

Drift told me that when times were tough, he would spend hours collecting shells and selling them to Tom Nook. But now, he’s wondering what Tom Nook does with all those shells…make swimming suits?

That made me think of Ariel’s seashell bikini in “The Little Mermaid.” But to my surprise, Drift said he wanted one for himself!

On that odd note, I think that about wraps up my week in Animal Crossing: Wild World. But as a reminder, Bright Nights takes place next week! Don’t forget to check it out if you still play ACWW!

On Wednesday, I shot down Gulliver’s UFO again. I searched for the five parts of his ship, and I returned them to him. In exchange, he gave me a Manekin Pis (the peeing statue). This was my 2nd one, and I put it in storage. Hopefully it won’t leak on my other stored items.

Yesterday, I found Pascal down by the shore. He warned me not to go to the bottom of the sea if I crack under pressure.

He also gave me a sea view (wallpaper) before jumping into the ocean. Sea ya!

Outside of the museum, Bones was talking about Blathers. He wondered if Blathers was young, because he went to college…

…or if he’s older, because he looks dignified and buttoned-up.

When I ran into Tank, he told me not to breathe near him! He was acting as if I had a cold, but I didn’t!

Today, someone did have a cold…but it still wasn’t me. It was Curt, and I was nice enough to give him some medicine.

Bones was talking about weddings; apparently he recently went to one.

But he was interested it mainly for the food. That doesn’t surprise me at all.

He mentioned the peach flambé, milk tea, and chiffon cake. He even said he wanted to get married soon…for a bite! His catchphrase fit there perfectly. *chef’s kiss*

On Wednesday, Truffles asked me if I thought fossils were cute. But without even giving me a chance to respond, she assumed I wouldn’t think so, and she called me a jerkhead.

And then she had the nerve to ask me to find a fossil for her. Oh sure, since you asked so politely.

Yesterday, I visited Curt’s house…and I noticed that it looked quite different! He rearranged his furniture. And even though his house looks rather empty this way, I actually kinda like it! He has a red and gold theme, with his shirt and helmet on either side of his red sofa, matching his carpet.

Whitney asked me to deliver a letter to Filbert, and I agreed to help out. But Filbert thought the letter was a bunch of “blah-de-blah.”

He showed me the letter, and I had to agree with him. Whitney just thanked him for a previous letter, and she told him it’s best to shed pounds sensibly.

When I returned to Whitney, she rewarded me with a palace tile.

Caroline also asked me to make a delivery, so I took a package over to Tank. She sent him a tuxedo, believe it or not! He changed into it right away, and he’s never looked so spiffy.

Caroline later gave me a round carpet to thank me for making the delivery.

When I visited Drift today, he asked how it would taste if he poured some tasty cola over some fresh apple dumplings. The last time I encountered one of these things, I told Tank I didn’t care for his idea…and he got mad at me. So this time, I told Drift his idea sounded good. But he was shocked, saying he was just joking about the combination!

It even showed him with these shocked reaction lines for a split second.

So Drift asked if I’ve actually tried that food combination, and if it cleared up my pimples?

Just another day in Animal Crossing: Wild World with these weird conversations.

Truffles told me that I was wearing this year’s hot color. However, she was wearing the hot color of the month…so she said that she wins.

The year is equally as old (or as new) as January is, though! So I don’t understand her logic, but oh well.
