Nookway Opens

My first palm tree is full-sized and all grown up now. *sniff* It has even grown a pair of coconuts.

I found another coconut washed up on the beach, and I planted it further east. I also caught a zebra turkeyfish, which I donated to the museum.

When I went over to the store, I saw something new: Nookway! Apparently Nook ‘n’ Go has Nook ‘n’ Went.

Nookway is large inside, with five furniture items on sale, along with aisles for wallpaper, carpeting, stationery, tools, and more.

I headed over to Able Sisters next, and Sable once again had a lengthy story to tell me. Apparently their father bought some marbles for Mabel one time, and Sable was upset that she didn’t get any. Their father said Sable was too old for toys. After crying for a while, she took Mabel’s marbles.

Mabel started crying, their dad got furious, and Sable ran outdoors without shoes on. Mable then switched to another story about how her mother helped calm them and made them feel special.

Back outside, I ran into Wendell the walrus. He was starving, so I gave him a crucian carp that I caught in the river.

Even though that was a different fish from what I gave him last time (a barbel steed), he still gave me the same design as my reward: the road 4 pattern.

Baabara showed me a letter she received, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Of all the ways I pick on Baabara, I never thought to make fun of her earlobes! Great idea! 😀

I found a new house in town, and Puddles the frog was inside. Welcome to Forest, Puddles!

I went over to the post office to make a mortgage payment (25,000 bells again) and check the recycle bin (empty).

And when I ran into Biskit, he showed me a strange letter that he received from a “Helpful Hint Guy.” Wow, what a great tip.

I then returned home and wrapped up my night. See you all next time!
