Winter has arrived now, with snow covering the trees and ground. Except for the many dirt spots all over town, of course. Snowballs (for making snowmen) have also started appearing.
I saw Chevre walking around, so I was a bit relieved to see that she didn’t move out. She didn’t have anything interesting to say tonight, though.
I made sure to check the bulletin board for the new message of the week, and it did not disappoint.
I ran into Pudge outside of the museum, and he asked if I wanted to buy his plaster wall for 1,180 bells. After I told him that was too much, he gave it to me for free. I was grateful, but only for a moment. Until he called me scary, that is. What do you mean by that?!
Puddles was also nearby, and she wasn’t being any nicer than Pudge. She was making fun of me for being poor, and she joked that I would be her best friend if she gave me one bell.
I tried making a snowman, but I wasn’t having much success. Twice, I (apparently) crashed or otherwise destroyed snowballs behind trees. But I eventually found two of them fairly close together, and I was able to make a snowman. But, it was facing the back of Baabara’s house. Hopefully there’s not a window back there.
I found three fossils on my walk around town tonight. I think the snow makes buried items easier to see. Two of the fossils were donated to the museum, while the other one was returned to me.
I then made a 25,000 bell mortgage payment at town hall before ending my game for the night. See you again on Saturday!
I had Wild World before, but I was disappointed in it because the villagers were far too rude and I didn’t like it. Even so, I think New Leaf toned it down a bit too much and I did like there being a hint of rudeness there. They just need to have a balance between the two 😛
A lot of people say that! Apparently they make the villagers more mellow as the games go on, so they’re a lot sweeter in the newer games.
I can’t even imagine what kind of evil-eye Puddles would give you if it was her house you put that snowman behind 😉
