Go Climb a Cliff!

On Wednesday, Dotty showed me a weird letter she received from a traveling pastry chef. It said some things were better hollow…but not stomachs. 😛

To Dotty, Some things are better hollow. Like macaroni. And donuts. But not bellies. So eat something! -A traveling pastry chef

Bones was over his cold, and he thanked me for the medicine by giving me some birch flooring.

Yesterday, Wolfgang told me that he’s learned a lot from me, so he said thanks. But with his catchphrase, it looked like he was thanking me for lunch. 😆

Wolfgang: So don't expect to hear this all the time, but... Thanks, for lunch!

Without really even trying, I had a good fishing I night. I caught two gars in the river, less than a minute apart!

I caught a gar! ...Nose like a GARden hose!

I also caught a hammerhead shark in the ocean.

Goose asked me to compete with him to see who could catch a moth first. Since it wasn’t raining, I knew I could catch one pretty easily. And indeed, I actually found one right outside of Goose’s house…and took it inside. He was defeated, and he gave me 510 bells for the win.

Goose: WEAK! There goes my untouchable world record...

Today, Mitzi came down with the cold that Bones had. I can’t go more than a day without somebody being sick in this town. 😛 I gave Mitzi some medicine, and she started to feel better right away.

Goose again wanted to compete to catch a bug. This time, we were racing to catch a fruit beetle. And this bug was proving to be harder to track down. In fact, it took me 12 minutes to find one. So once I did take one back to Goose, he said he caught one a “long, long time ago.”

Goose: See, thing is, I caught me a fruit beetle a long, long time ago!
So let me see it! Where’s the proof?

When I win these contests, I have to give him the bug/fish to prove I won. Yet he doesn’t even show me his beetle! I just have to take his word for it. That’s not fair! How do I know he’s not lying?

Soooooo, I started pushing him around a bit. And he told me to go climb a cliff. 😆

Goose: Ugh! What?! Go and climb a cliff or something, nutty!

See you all next time!
