Snowman TV

I had a chat with Hopper this afternoon, and he was quite annoyed by the snow that was falling. He said he wished he could be collecting shells on a warm summer day. Okay, sure, but he’s a penguin! He should like the cold weather!

Hopper: Aw, man! I wish the sky would knock off all this stupid snowin'...

Big Top was finally over his cold, and he thanked me for all the medicine by giving me a modern wall.

I visited Puddles, and she told me how she enjoys to sit at home and pig out on dark chocolate. Sounds good to me!

Puddles: Hi there! Sometimes, it's nice to sit at home and pig out on dark chocolate!
Puddles is my spirit animal.

Rhonda was all set to move out of town, but I got her to reconsider. I might as well try to get her picture before I let her go.

Rhonda: Jeff, if you want me here so badly, I'll think about it.I noticed two snowballs were fairly close together behind Nookington’s, so I rolled them up into a snowman. It wasn’t my first snowman of the season, but it was my first snowman of 2018. And it was my first perfect snowman of the season. He should be sending me a gift in the mail. 🙂

Snowman: All flawlessly executed! And my face... Perfection!
Are you sure you’re not leaning?

At town hall, I made a 35,000 bell mortgage payment.

I ended my game for the moment, but I started it back up around 9 p.m. I had some new mail, and it was a letter from the snowman. He sent me a snowman TV; I put it in my house.

The snowman TV in Animal Crossing: Wild World (ACWW) for Nintendo DS.

I went over to the Roost to check out some music from K.K. Slider. He played K.K. Rockabilly for me.

After that, I visited Hopper. He told me a bit about Pascal’s past. Apparently he was hit in the head with a soccer ball when he was young. That was apparently the cause of his philosophical ways. 😛

Hopper: From what I hear, when he was young he was hit in the head by a soccer ball.Hopper: He wasn't hurt, but from then on he started mumbling random philosophy.I did a little fishing, but I didn’t catch anything good. So I ended my game shortly thereafter.

I’ll be posting my next Wild World video within a couple days…and possibly by tomorrow. Check here to see my latest videos: jvgsjeff videos.

Fully Expanded House

Tom Nook has completed the work on my house, adding a back room. The exterior of the house also has a new, larger look.

My newly expanded house.

In the new room, I put up the cityscape wall that Hopper gave me last time. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this room, though.

My back room, with a cityscape wall but nothing else.

After giving Big Top some more medicine, I went to Nookington’s to speak with Tom Nook. Before he told me how much I owe him for the expansion, he tried to tell me that he’s taking a big loss on this project. Oh, please.

Tom Nook: So, on to the price... Now, I want you to know I'm taking a huge loss on this.He even said he was bleeding money! He then said I owe him 9,480 bells? However, he quickly corrected himself, saying I could afford to pay 948,000 bells. Wow, what a jerk.

Tom Nook: You can afford... 948,000 bells!I wasn’t happy about the price, but at least this will be the last loan I have to pay off. That’s because my house can not be expanded any more.

Tom Nook: And just so we're clear on this, I cannot expand your house any more. Not at all.Crazy Redd was in town, but his lone piece of art this week was a scary painting. I already have that one in the museum, so I held on to my money.

When I ran into Kiki, she told me that she saw Puddles furiously stomping on the beach one day. She said she had never seen anyone do that before…but actually, she witnessed the exact same thing just over a year ago too! So she has seen it before. And maybe Puddles has an annual winter meltdown.

Kiki: I've never seen anyone stomp around a beach so furiously, le meow!

After speaking with everyone in town, I did a little fishing…but I didn’t catch anything good. After selling all my fish, fossils, and fruit, I went up to town hall. I paid 45,000 bells towards my final mortgage.

Roach Brooch

I met up with Baabara out in the snow tonight, and she told me she was looking for a cockroach! But the weirdest part was that she wanted to make a brooch out of it! Gross!

Baabara: I'm looking for a bug called a cockroach, shear me.

Baabara: It has the most amazing shape, shear me. It would make a lovely brooch!
You want a roach brooch?!

Kiki was in her house, with her belongings all packed up! She was about to move out of town! But I made her reconsider.

Kiki: Maybe I should stay after all... le meow. After giving Big Top another dose of medicine, I visited Hopper. He gave me a cityscape wall for free…nice!

Down in the Roost, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Rally for me. I wonder if I’m getting close to collecting all of the K.K. songs in the game.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Rally! After selling apples, fossils, and a few other things, I headed up to town hall. I paid off the remaining 35,000 bells on my mortgage. Yes! I’m debt-free! At least until the next time I play. 😛

Pelly: Oh my goodness! You've paid off your entire loan!I went back to Tom Nook, and he confirmed that he’ll be adding another room to my house by tomorrow. He warned me that it’s going to expensive, though.

Tom Nook: And it's so expensive, your heart may stop when you see the price. Ho ho!
You seem a bit too jolly as you’re telling me I may die.

I got to pick a roof color, and I went with navy this time. I was going to pick black, but it wasn’t one of the options.
