Wishy Came Through

On Monday, I received the letter from Wishy that I was expecting.

To the wisher, Jeff, I heard a small voice call to me one lonely night. It made me happy...so I will grant your wish! -From Wishy the Star

Attached to the letter was a fine painting! That’s one of the two paintings I still needed! Wow! Wishy came through, and my wish came true! 😀

Moments later, I found a four-leaf clover. I guess it really was my lucky day. 😛

WAHOO! I got the four-leaf clover!

At the museum, I donated my new painting. It’s looking fiiiiine!

Fine painting. Donor: Jeff

I now only need one more painting, and it’s the most famous of all: the Mona Lisa.

Today, Deena wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a horse mackerel first. Since that’s a common fish, I agreed to the challenge, and I caught the fish pretty quickly. When I took it back to Deena, she rewarded me with a giant dharma.

Olivia is still sick, so I gave her some more medicine Monday, yesterday, and then again today.

Olivia: Ohh... I don't feel so good. I think I'm gonna barf. No, I'm OK. I think. I'm so sick!
I’m sick of you being sick.

That makes a total of six doses of medicine I’ve given her in the past two weeks, so I feel like I’ve done more than my share to help. If she keeps this up, I may just have to let her die. 😛

When I spoke with Roscoe, he said I must think he doesn’t have many friends. Well, no, I didn’t think that, and I’m not one to judge someone on how many friends they have. But he called me wrong anyway, and said that even though he doesn’t get along with Hugh…

Roscoe: Well, you're wrong, as usual! Sure, Hugh and I are like oil and water, but...

He insisted that he gets along deliciously with everyone else. 😛

Roscoe: ...all my other relationships are like oil and vinegar! Delicious, nay!
Oil and vinegar don’t exactly stay mixed for very long either… so your friendships must only last long enough to eat a salad. 😛

Up at town hall, Pelly says she caught Pete staring at her, and she’s convinced this is the start of a romance. Poor Pelly, she never learns.

Pelly: This is the start of a romance! I'm sure of it!

“That Cheap Saharah”

Yesterday, Roscoe asked me to deliver a letter to Cyrano. However, as I continued playing, I forgot about the letter and ended my game for the night. 😛 By today, it was too late…and Roscoe was mad at me. Oops.

Roscoe: Remember that letter I asked you to deliver to Cyrano? You blew it!

Saharah was in town tonight, and she asked me to make a delivery to Pelly. It was too late in the day for Pelly, so Phyllis accepted the package. But Phyllis had the nerve to call Saharah cheap, and I don’t even understand why.

Phyllis: Tell that cheap Saharah that I said thanks for me, would you?

Saharah then asked me to deliver a package to Mabel as well. Once I did, Saharah offered me a shoji screen or a music room floor; I chose the former.

Saharah: Do you want a shoji screen or a music room floor?

It’s Cyrano’s birthday, so I dropped by the big grump’s party.

Cyrano: Say, I know it's awkward for me to bring it up, but... where's my present?

I gave him a haz-mat barrel that I bought at Nookington’s. 😂 He gave me an Ionian post in return. My buddy Bob was also at the party, and he made it almost bearable. 😉

Bob: Come on, let's wish Cyrano a happy birthday!
Do I have to? 😛

Olivia has still been sick with a cold, so I gave her more medicine yesterday and then again today.

Before wrapping up my game for the night, I wished on a shooting star. I’ll let you know what Wishy sends me next time!

Sword Sales

On Tuesday, Mom sent me a letter about the start of spring (and softball season in particular). She said that she accidentally hit Agnes with a pitch! Ouch! That poor pig!

Dear Jeff, It's the start of softball season! I accidentally hit Agnes with the ball when I was pitching. Oops. She was really mad! -Mom

Hugh again asked me for some orange furniture, so I bought this orange chair at Nookington’s. You can’t get any oranger than this! 😛 🍊

Timmy: Ah, yes, yes. That's the orange chair. Very nice. ...very nice.

I took it over to Hugh, and he accepted the gift. He thanked me by giving me a common floor.

Crazy Redd was in town, but he didn’t have the rocket I’m looking for. But he did have a black pawn, which I bought just to have it in my catalog.

Yesterday, there was a spotlight product at Nookington’s: It was a Master Sword, which I didn’t need. How are these last two paintings I need more rare than a Master Sword?! 😛

Cyrano surprised me by asking if I knew about Bob and Deena’s relationship!

Cyrano: Did you hear? About Bob and Deena's relationship?

But I think he was just trying to pull my leg. 😛

Late last night, I wished on a shooting star. Today, Wishy sent me an ivory piano in the mail.

Snake told me that he has blisters all over his feet tonight. He wondered if it’s from never wearing shoes. 😛

Snake: ...Oh, wait! You think maybe it's 'cuz we don't wear shoes, bunyip?

Hugh was packed up and ready to move out, but I got him to change his mind. He hasn’t suffered here long enough yet. 😀

Nookington’s had another spotlight product today, and it was a ninja sword. So the spotlight product has been a sword on two consecutive days! 😛

Timmy: You have a keen eye! That's our spotlight product...the ninja sword!

Olivia was sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine. Get well soon! I don’t want to have her infecting the other animals in town. 😛
