In addition the new winter items I mentioned last time, there are also new winter themed foods. You can purchase the recipes at Miss Teri’s Shop of Wonder with nice points. Here’s a look at what the new food items look like:
On the farm, I crossbred a hibiscus seed and a sunny hibiscus seed and got a rare blazing hibiscus seed as a result. I planted the seed, and once harvested, I earned the “Fiery Flower” sticker. As a reward, I received the desert traveler outfit.
After that, I went home to dream. A lot. I have tons of completed puzzles, so my dream backlog is huge. Since I went on so many dreams, I’m not going to detail every activity in each of them. But I went on the Alice in Wonderland dream “Curious Kingdom,” the Pinocchio dream “Whale of a Whale,” the Hercules dream “Hero’s Pride,” the Little Mermaid dream “Ocean Kingdom,” The Three Caballeros dream “Samba Shenanigans,” and the Snow White dream “Forest Friends.”
Here are a few of my favorite moments from those dreams:
When I was done, I earned the “Life’s a Dream” sticker for visiting 20 dream stages.
After that, only one sticker remained on my page of pro stickers: Surfing more than 400m. It took me a number of attempts, but I eventually surfed for a distance of 459.8 meters. That earned me sticker #115, “Surfing? Sure Thing!”
That completed the “Pro Stickers” album, but I immediately got another sticker album! This one is called “Expert Stickers,” and there are 15 final stickers to earn. But many of the expert stickers are just continuations of previous ones. For example, one of them is to wear 200 ace ensembles and one requires building 180 pieces of furniture at Chip & Dale’s workshop.
This is a bit disappointing, because I immediately earned 12 of the 15 new stickers! I had already met the requirements, so the game just kept rewarding me for them, one after another. So I only need three more stickers in the entire game, and none of them seem particularly difficult.
I’ll see you next time with more. In the meantime, here’s a look at my detailed collection status. My overall collection is 76.69% complete.
Any tips for getting to 400 metres on the surf board? I go as far out from the shore to maximize the wave, but the longest ride so far is 323.8m.
What seemed to help me top 400m was to get going fast, and then go horizontally in front of the wave as much as possible. Just make small moves vertically near the wave to pick up speed, and then go left/right to the end of the wave and then turn back and repeat.
In other words, don’t sway up and down any more than you need to. Sorry I’m probably not using the right terminology, but hopefully you’ll know what I mean.
Well, I did it! Then I immediately got the next 13 stickers, quickly followed by the last two. Now to work on the last few seeds, and one elusive fish. I’m currently at 71% completion. Do you think we’ll get some DLC (for purchase) like we did for the first game? I also accidentally came across a cheat for the ballroom.
Congrats! I haven’t heard anything about any paid DLC, so I’m not sure we’re going to get any. The game has been out in Japan since 2015, so any DLC probably would’ve been announced by now if it were coming. 🙁 But I wish they would add another world or two.
How do you know which dreams you have and haven’t already visited?
When you’re choosing dreams, there will be a small crown icon that indicates you’ve already completed it. You can also see the crowns on the dream book in your collection list.
O ok thanks!
Those food items are so cute!
