After Christmas, the snowmen and other Christmas decorations were gone from around Castleton. I hope you all enjoyed your holidays!
On New Year’s Day, Mickey had a special favor to ask of me. He wanted me to wear a samurai outfit (from the Japanese theme), and when I did, he gave me a Mickey daruma doll.
Later in the day, Minnie also had a favor to ask: She asked me to wear a kimono outfit. But no, you don’t get to see a picture of me wearing the kimono. 😛 In return, she gave me the Minnie daruma doll. This is what the dolls look like:
Back by the waterfall in 100 Acre Wood, I caught my first green crownfish. That was the 37th (and final) type of fish I’ve caught, so my fish collection is now complete.
The official DMW2 site has some new downloads available for the New Year’s celebration. Scan the QR code to receive a Japanese fan, Mocha (a Sorcerer’s Apprentice themed bear), a white bouquet, a star festival Mickey hat, a rare gold mickey top hat, a fancy print balloon, a Mickey print balloon, and a Minnie print balloon. For your convenience, here is the QR code:
After replaying episode 15 in Atlantica (The Little Mermaid world), I earned enough deep sea medals to make the Donald star wand at Yen Sid’s tower. This was the final wand I needed to complete my magic wand collection.
I then returned home for some dreaming. I began with the Sleeping Beauty dream “Looming Menace.” Maleficent turned into a dragon and burned my butt!
Phillip and I then defeated the dragon. Yes, I actually helped! Of course, it was just a dream, but I’d like to think of it as an accomplishment. 😉 After Aurora woke up, I hopped into her bed to take a nap. Wait, I’m sleeping during a dream? Is this Inception?
Next, I went on the Tangled themed dream of “The World Outside.” I took a swing on Rapunzel’s hair, and I also climbed up it.
I then launched a sky lantern from a boat.
And with that, I have now completed every dream in my dream book.
My overall item collection is currently at 93.98% complete. Here’s an updated look at my collection screen.
The spring holidays start on April 1st, and most of the items I still need are things I can’t get until then. So unless there are unexpected developments, I may not be back with another entry until April. In the meantime, feel free to check out my Animal Crossing: New Leaf Blog or browse JVGS for my updates on other games.
Looking for a Pascal plush toy from Tangled?
It’s a shame DMW2 seems so quick to complete, haha. And I’ll miss seeing the dreams 😛 I love the lighting in dreams, and in that first picture with the neon star 🙂
It’s not a super short game, but I learned from my experience with the first DMW. Namely, I learned to buy everything I could and to hoard everything I find. 😀 And because of that familiarity, I blogged less frequently and focused the entries more on newer things, rather than rehashing things that I learned from the first game. But there is definitely a LOT to do in DMW2, even if the entries didn’t convey that fact.
Awww, I loved this blog. I definitely wish there could have been regular posts for longer but I suppose there is only so much you can do in this game!
I’ve nowhere near completed my sticker collection so Ill be playing for a big while longer.
Thank you for the feedback. I can certainly understand that viewpoint, especially considering I’ve only posted 18 entries so far. I don’t know if there will be a third game in the series, but if so, I might do things differently next time.
