I arrived in the beautiful, green dream town of Shamrock. This is the perfect town to visit around St. Patrick's Day. There are patterns of four-leaf clovers, shamrock hats, pots of gold, and gold nuggets all around town.

There are also tons of flowers everywhere you go, including this rose rainbow.

Town Hall proudly displays the Shamrock flag, while two square topiaries are visible out in front.

But even though the outdoor parts of Shamrock are Irish themed, not all of the houses are. As I began walking to the west, the first house I reached belonged to Keiga. His house wasn't Irish, but was instead Japanese themed. And it was one of the best Japanese themed houses I've seen...very impressive.

Over by Re-Tail, I met another character: Ivy. She doesn't appear to be poisonous.

Ivy's house has a 7/11 supermarket, a gorgeous plant/flower room, an aquarium, bookstore/library, and more.

Esp's house has a great-looking diner and an impeccable bakery...

...and a fruit/citrus themed room--I think I'm overdosing on Vitamin C just standing here!

It also has an amazing Irish pub that matches the town theme.

Down by the lighthouse, there are a bunch of four-leaf clovers on the ground. Pick one up and put it in your hair if you're feeling lucky!

Patrick's house has a lot of uncommon furniture sets (sloppy, cabana, mermaid, sweets, etc.). And of course, there's a villager picture of Lyman, the green koala that wears a club shirt.

Whether you're Irish or not, you're bound to love the town of Shamrock. It's a gorgeous town outdoors, and many of the indoor rooms look as if they were designed by an interior decorator. With all due respect to Lion Town, I think Shamrock has overtaken it as my new favorite dream town. Pinch me, I'm dreaming!

Update, December 14, 2016: Shamrock has now been updated with a new dream address for Welcome Amiibo. The paths and houses have been changed, and it's currently winter in Shamrock. The season is likely to change in future months of course, but for now it's not as green as it was when I first visited. However, it's still a great town with a great Irish pub. Most of the villagers are green now, too!
