Today, the money rock gave me gems instead of money bags once again. This is the third time. (So take a good look!)
I spotted Phineas in town, and he gave me a Skilled Diver badge.
He also gave me a Good Samaritan badge for helping out my neighbors a lot.
I now have a total of six badgers badges. As I continued my walk around town, I saw two of my favorite animals fishing on the river bank, on opposite sides of the bridge. How cute.
I heard a balloon present above, but it was no ordinary balloon present. It was a silver slingshot!
I shot it down, and now I can start shooting two pellets at a time.
On the bulletin board, there was a message from T.I.Y., advertising an extremely rare wall-mounted monitor. Sounds interesting. I’ll check it out later.
The fruit Wendy brought me a few days ago really paid off today, as they were all producing fresh fruit! Here you can see two of my lemon trees. Stay away, Shelbyville!
I then saw Katrina’s tent and went inside. Katrina talked about a row of golden model homes. But the key to this fortune was a royal crown. Nevermind. As if I have a million bells to spend on a crown.
Not far away, I spotted a new house. Rolf has moved in!
Forest now has ten villagers for the first time!
And back outside, I saw Katt. She wanted me to get her some fresh fruit. I had the perfect fruit to give her: a lemon! Unfortunately, she seemed to enjoy it.
She even gave me a blue-trim wall as thanks. But enough about that. It was time for the ceremony commemorating the completion of the modern clock!
But the modern clock wasn’t the only new clock I got today. From Ireland, Gulliver sent me a shamrock clock. I hung it on the wall of my museum exhibit room.
Try to ignore those balloons. I’m in the process of splitting that stuff into two separate exhibits. But while I was up on Main Street, I took some fruit to Shrunk. He thanked me by teaching me the “worry” emotion.
After that, I went into T.I.Y. to check out the wall-mounted monitor. I bought it and tried it out in my house. It’s basically just a TV, but it’s flat and hangs on the wall. And it’s not in color…
At this point, I was done playing. But later on, in the evening, Wendy asked to use my Shampoodle to try out the color contacts. So she came over, only to find that Harriet did not give her an option for color contacts. I tried it myself and got this message:
Apparently, you can only get color contacts in your own town (when the gate is closed). It seems weird that visitors can have their hair done, but not their eyes.
And before I ended my night in Forest, I showed Wendy my modern clock. I noticed that it looks a bit like a guillotine, so I asked Wendy to help me get Katt into it. 😉
But I think Katt knew what we were planning, so she quickly headed off to another part of town. That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow!
