I worked a shift at the cafe today, and one of the out-of-town customers was Fauna. She was one of the first new characters announced for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Too bad they didn’t keep her Japanese name, Doremi.
I did well at my second job today, and I earned some superb coffee beans. But then Brewster told me about how a customer once showed him a gyroid, and he couldn’t get it out of his mind. So he made one of his own, and he gave it to me!
It’s called a brewstoid, and it looks a lot like him. It’s a bit creepy, actually.
And yesterday, I got a suggestion from apple-cupcake on Tumblr. She said I should leave my toy hammer out, so dream visitors can use it to beat up Tabby and Katt. That sounded like a great idea to me, so I left my toy hammer near my town tree.
I’m not going to leave it there forever, but I’ll try to leave it for at least a few days. So if you’d like to play around with the toy hammer and/or check out my town, my dream address is 4300-2003-9889 (update: it’s now 5D00-000F-7611). You can also find it in the left-hand column of this blog. Have fun in Forest!
I saw Benedict fishing in a holding pond. He said if he catches a big fish, he’s going to rub it in everyone’s faces. That’s pretty hilarious if taken literally, but I don’t think he’s going to catch a big fish in a tiny pond. Sorry, Ben.
After that, I made my way down to my brand new wind turbine!
And of course I attended the project completion ceremony for the wind turbine. Hooray!
With that done, I went up to Main Street for my shopping run. T.I.Y. had the song “Pondering” for sale, although it has a questionable album cover.
When I returned to town, I spotted Phineas! He gave me a “Skilled Bug Catcher” badge. This is my 9th badge.
Isabelle said Forest was still underdeveloped, so I decided to put in a police station. Even though I like Booker better than Copper, I went with the modern police station. The classic one looks too much like a dilapidated outhouse.
Later on, I went up to Club LOL to watch K.K. perform. He sang K.K. Groove for me.
