There was a meteor shower in my town last night. Wendy came over and we wished on the shooting stars.
Then today, I got a letter in the mail from Wishy. He sent me a vintage radio. That’s not what I wished for, but thanks.
One interesting note about the vintage radio: It’s not a regular music player; in fact, it plays the audio of whatever is on TV at the time.
I also noticed that my right wall was missing from my main room!
Of course that meant that Nook completed construction on my new room. As for the wall-mounted monitor that had been on that wall, it was already installed in my new room.
I went outside and Big Top wanted to talk to me. He suggested a new public works project: The lighthouse! I’ve been wanting a lighthouse for a long time, and I already know where I’m going to put it.
Then I ran into Tabby, who asked if I needed her for anything. No.
I wanted to start the lighthouse right away, but town hall was closed for the day (due to the fireworks festival tonight).
You’re telling me the mayor doesn’t even have a key for town hall? When Tortimer was mayor, he slept in there 24/7, but can I even step foot into my own office? Noooooo.
Anyway, Nintendo has another new DLC item available, this time at Nintendo Zone locations. So if you used a Best Buy before, this should work again, but some McDonald’s may also work. When you’re in a Nintendo Zone area, start your game up and go to the post office. Ask Pelly or Phyllis about the new items available. This time, the DLC is a pumpkin pie.
I put it in my house (to let it cool, of course).
But I also thought I’d check the status of the pumpkin pie in the Nooklings’ catalog. Unfortunately, it can not be ordered! First the shaved-ice lamp, and now this. Not cool, Nintendo!
And last but not least, I headed over to the museum. I got my robust statue in the mail from Crazy Redd today, so I was pleased to find out it was a real work of art. I donated it to the collection.
Also, I want to share a video tour of my house that I made yesterday. Check it out and let me know what you think!
