It’s the start of a new month, and that means there is new DLC to download. So I headed up to the post office to ask Pelly about the new item for this month. She gave me the full-moon vanity.
Since the full-moon vanity is a regular DLC (and not a Nintendo Zone exclusive), it can be re-ordered for a cost of 4,360 bells.
Even though the mirror eclipses obstructs the view, the yellow part is a full moon. That fact is obvious when you view the full moon from behind.
But the new month also brings new bugs and fish. So late last night, and again today, I did some fishing, bug-hunting, and diving. I caught several of the new catches including the cricket, bell cricket, red dragonfly, oyster, and clam.
Later on, I went into my house for something, and Benedict came in unexpectedly. I set the 3DS down for a minute because I was checking something online. And barely a minute later, Benedict had to leave. I guess he didn’t like being ignored.
Anyway, I know the robust statue that Wendy bought from Crazy Redd in her town yesterday was fake. How do I know? Because the moving painting I bought turned out to be real. Sorry, Wendy! 😛
And back in town, Alli finally told me what two other animals already had: That she was moving out of town. I didn’t try to stop her. I don’t dislike her or anything, but she’s not one of my favorites either. Let’s get some fresh faces in Forest. As long as they don’t look like Tabby or Canberra, that is.
And after a diving session, Tabby approached me, wanting to give me a new nickname. She wanted to call me “pookie.” ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? No, you can not call me Pookie!
That’s all for today, but I’ll see you next time!
