Late last night, Wendy let me visit her town to sell some perfect peaches. I also stopped to take a look at her illuminated tree. This will look really nice around Christmas time.
Then today, I got my gift from Gulliver in the mail. It was a matryoshka from Russia. It’s the set of three cannibalistic dolls that eat each other.
And I noticed that the grass and trees are now a lighter, yellower shade of green.
Over by the brick bridge, I saw a spot marked off for a new home. Kidd the goat will be moving in tomorrow. I’m not sure if I’ll like him or not. Time will tell.
But Kidd’s nearest neighbor Rolf must not be a fan. Because he told me he was going to be moving out of town on the 13th of this month. Sorry tiger, but you’re not going anywhere.
Over by town hall, Tabby and Canberra, of all people, were discussing beauty routines! Ha!
When they finished their conversation, I talked to Tabby. She asked me for some fruit. So naturally, I gave her a lemon.
In return, she gave me a pink pj shirt…thanks.
But unlike when I saw Tabby, I was happy to see Aurora. In fact, she even asked if I had a dorado in my pocket. Indeed I did, and she bought it from me for a cool 18,000 bells.
I made a quick trip out to the island and bought this snorkel mask for 20 medals.
I was hoping it would let me swim without a wet suit, but no such luck.
And back up in town, I noticed how the grass underneath my flowers has not grown back at all.
Those flowers have been there for quite a while, too. This is very discouraging. I no longer believe that the grass situation in New Leaf is any better than it was in City Folk. What a pain.
