Canberra’s Last Day

Tonight, I saw Molly over by the zen bell. For some reason, she was feeling sad.

Molly: Ugh... I'm not in the mood to talk, waddle. Please just let me mope for a while.Perhaps I shouldn’t have rung the bell in her ear.

After I crossed the bridge, I saw a tent at the campsite. Olivia was camping inside. She mentioned the possibility of moving into town, but I didn’t talk to her after that. I didn’t want to make her feel welcome in Forest, because she isn’t.

Olivia: Hey there, I'm Olivia. I'm just in Forest camping for a little while. Not far away was yet another tent; Crazy Redd was in town. Of his four items for sale, I already had three of them in my museum. So my decision to buy the only other item (an amazing painting) was an easy one.

Redd: I see! Ya seem to be really close to that amazing painting, yeah? When I went in to visit Teddy, I saw that he was sick for the third straight day.

Teddy: Ha ha! Oh, this is nothing. Aaachoo! Little tickle. That's all.Back outside, Rolf suggested a new public works project (PWP): A zen streetlight.

Rolf: You should talk about funding a zen streetlight!I’m not really interested in it, but this is what it looks like:

Zen streetlight PWP: 64,000 bells.I then went in to say goodbye to Canberra. She’s all packed up and she’ll be gone tomorrow. 🙂 G’bye, mate!

Canberra: Oh, master! I'm sorry about the news! My big move is tomorrow!I headed up to Main Street for my usual shopping run. At the Dream Suite, Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Riley from MooMool. Hi Riley!

At T&T Emporium, I picked up some medicine for Teddy. When I got back to town, I gave it to him. Not to sound greedy, but I hope he gives me something good for getting him medicine every day. I’m dying for a villager pic other than Tabby’s.

Teddy jumps into the air as he takes his medicine. That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow! Please come again. 🙂

Mummification

Today, I got a balloon from someone I StreetPassed.

Me and my new balloon at the Happy Homes Showcase. But while I was running through the Happy Homes Showcase, I tripped and fell…and lost my balloon. I guess my character is having a bad luck day. Anyway, I noticed there was a new SpotPass home. It belongs to Dano from Alexis. Dano has all four Brewstoids in this room. It’s making me hungry…

Dano's food room, with four Brewstoids enjoying the snacks. And he had a raccoon figurine standing at a men’s toilet.

A raccoon figurine standing at a men's toilet. The basement had some cats standing at a drum set. A pair of gyroids also seemed to be part of the band.

The cat band is about to perform. When I went to the Roost, I saw Kidd in there. He was telling me about the “magic hour.” And I started to question if his cup was full of coffee or something else.

Kidd: The dim skyline you see after the sun sets over the horizon's edge is a time called "the magic hour."The Able Sisters had a mummy shirt for sale, so I bought it. I put it on, along with my mummy mask and mummy pants I had in storage.

Me dressed up as a mummy.I started to freak out that I only had one eye, but I managed to decompose myself.

At the Dream Suite, I visited the dream town of someone I once StreetPassed. My ACCF friend Rowan was there.

Rowan: When I look at your face, I can tell you're not an enemy! Just try to be less serious! Shiznit! And Bob was also there.

Bob: I haven't cleaned my place at all, but this is a dream, so who cares? When I returned to my town, I updated my dream and I saw that Emily from Sheerio was my most recent dream visitor. Hi Emily!

I got a letter congratulating me for reaching 100,000 bells in the bank. They sent me a box of tissues. Despite how it may look, I did not make my mummy suit out of the tissues.

Me dressed as a mummy, standing next to a box of tissues.I stopped in to see Teddy, and he was sick again today.

Teddy: Ugh... Are these chills happening because I have a cold or because I'm too muscular?I went to the Emporium to get him some medicine and gave it to him. Hopefully he’ll start feeling better soon.

Modern Train Station Reconstruction

Last night, Wendy came over to check out the T&T Emporium. While in Gracie Grace, Gracie was standing in front of Gabi and it looked like Gracie had rabbit ears.

Gabi standing behind Gracie, making it look like Gracie had rabbit ears. Then today, I found that a new black rose grew where I planted the fertilizer yesterday. Nice. I wish I could use this stuff in my City Folk town.

A new black rose I found in town today. And I saw that the train station reconstruction has been completed!

My new modern train station!I then went up to Main Street to get my fossils identified and to go shopping. While updating my dream town, I saw that Epic Gal from Pikachu was the most recent visitor to my dream town.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Epic Gal from Pikachu enjoyed your dream.Next, I went in T&T Emporium. I like the revolving door!

Going through the revolving door at T&T Emporium.I went up to Gracie Grace to see if the stock had changed. In City Folk, Gracie Grace’s inventory would stay the same for three months at a time. Fortunately, that’s not the case in New Leaf, as most of today’s items are different from the items offered yesterday. (The shoes/boots remained the same, however).

Today's selection of items at GracieGrace. Before I left the Emporium, I bought some medicine for Teddy. He was feeling sick today, so this medicine helped him feel a little bit better.

Teddy jumps into the air as he takes his medicine. And then later tonight, I remembered to attend the ceremony for the opening of the train station’s reconstruction. Molly, Kidd, Canberra, and Benedict joined me, Isabelle, and Porter for the ceremony.

Everybody fires off party poppers at the completion ceremony for the train station reconstruction. That wrapped up my day in Forest, but I’ll be back with more soon. I do want to point out that I’ve updated my town page now. In addition to adding pictures of T&T Emporium and my train station reconstruction, the town history section now has links to the blog entry where each event happened. So feel free to explore Forest’s history. I’ll see you all next time.
