Today is December 1st, and the new month brings some changes. There are new fish to catch, the mushrooms stop appearing, harvest furniture is no longer sold, and there’s a new DLC. I stopped at the post office to ask for the new item and Pelly gave me this new tree stump chair. It can be ordered from the catalog, which is always a good thing.
And villagers may mention the upcoming Toy Day, along with a clue as to what they want. Aurora told me that she wanted something black for Christmas. Alright. Coal it is!
December also brings new inventory for GracieGrace up on the third floor of T&T Emporium. Gracie now has gorgeous furniture for sale. This is the only furniture set of Gracie’s that I actually like. But still, it’s hard to justify the cost. This gorgeous bed was 300,000 bells.
At the cafe, Kabuki (an out-of-towner) came in for some coffee. Kabuki is one cool cat.
My campsite was occupied once again today, this time with Elmer the horse. My town is already full with ten villagers, so Elmer had no chance of sticking around.
But speaking of villagers sticking around, Kidd told me that he was planning on moving out of town tomorrow! That’s not much of a warning!
I like Kidd, so I asked him to stay. Fortunately, he agreed.
Over by town hall, I spoke with Big Top. For reasons unknown, he was talking about how holes in pants are cool and awesome. Perhaps he split his pants, and he was trying to act like it was done on purpose.
I did some fishing and caught two of December’s new fish. I caught a sea butterfly from the ocean and a pond smelt from the river.
Luna told me that Louise from Paradise was my most recent dream visitor.
And I went to check out my friend Skye’s new town. Her town layout is really unique; her river is located entirely in the right half of town. It’s a pretty cool town, though. And she’s fortunate enough to have Goldie as a villager.
