Late last night, Jessica came over to drop off the clothes she borrowed for Gracie’s fashion check. That was her fourth passed fashion check, so she’ll be getting the Emporium soon. So congratulations to Jessica! I didn’t keep the gate open long since it was so late, but she did stop to wish on a shooting star.
When I started the game up today, I had a whole lot of mail in the mailbox. Wishy sent me this Mama polar bear, for one thing.
Katie sent me a sketchbook. And Gulliver sent me a Moai statue from Easter Island, which I put in my World Wonders exhibit.
I also received all of the modern furniture I ordered from the Happy Homes Academy yesterday. When I went in the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Noah from Pixels recently visited my dream town.

Up at GracieGrace, I bought the gorgeous bed for 210,000 bells. I only need two more items and I’ll have the whole set!
And in Club LOL, I asked K.K. for a random song and he performed K.K. Safari for me.
After that, I was basically done for the night. But I knew I had to sell my turnips before they expired. My Re-Tail was only paying 93 bells each for them, which is the exact same price I paid for them on Sunday. With none of my best friends online, I just decided to sell them for that price and break even for the week. Hopefully next week will be a better week for the stalk market.
As visitors to my dream town may know, I previously had started a modern furniture room customized with emeralds. But when the holiday sets started coming out, I decided to put my modern stuff into storage…in part because I still needed a few pieces to complete the set.
I put the new piece in my basement.
There was an igloo over at the campsite today, and Nibbles the squirrel was inside.
Up on Main Street, Luna told me that Allison from the town of Stuffin was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Emporium, Gracie disappointed me by not having any gorgeous furniture that I needed today. When I returned to town, Teddy suggested a new public works project: a solar panel.
It’s been a while since any of my villagers have suggested a new project. They’re probably running out of things to suggest, although I sure would like a geyser! Anyway, this is what the solar panel looks like.
I found Katie in town, so I asked around to see if anyone wanted her. Krystal from LaLaPark did, so I took Katie there.
I said hello to Krystal and she let me check her snowman to see if I needed its bingo number (I did).
She has some illuminated arches and illuminated trees, surrounded by roses. It was stunning.
When I returned to Forest, I saw there was a meteor shower going on. So I wished on a shooting star.
At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Kim came over and the two of us kept wishing on every shooting star. It was getting a bit comical how we kept doing it over and over.
But we got disconnected twice, so Kim decided to take a break for ten minutes or so. Jessica then came over to borrow some clothes for Gracie’s fashion check. She needed ornate clothing, so I let her borrow a noble shirt, royal shorts, and a knight’s helmet.
Technically the knight’s helmet isn’t ornate, but 
Kim also brought a bunch of pitfall seeds, so that we could try sumo! For those of you who haven’t been following my blogs and videos since the ACCF days, sumo is a game where you surround a 3×3 grid with pitfall seeds. Two or more players inside the “ring” try the push the other player(s) into the pitfalls. The last person standing wins. For a video of how it works, see 
We then started the match. We pushed, and spun, and pushed some more. It didn’t end well for me. Mr. Snowman got buried.
We played a rematch, and it ended quickly with Kim somehow pushing me into another pitfall within seconds. I have a good excuse for losing twice. Actually, I don’t, but I’ll try to come up with one!
At any rate, it’s good to see that sumo still works in New Leaf. Around 11:00, Kim left for the night. But she let me keep the remaining pitfall seeds (thanks Kim!) so I can battle someone else. Maybe I’ll find someone I can beat. 😛
After checking my island gift shop, I returned home and ended my game for the night. Have a great weekend, everyone!
But Skye’s head was blocking my view of a pitfall seed, which I found as I tried to walk past her. Skye and Saharah were both using the distress emotion as I fought to free myself.
Once I made it to my house, Saharah installed a stately wall and a sci-fi floor. The sci-fi floor is a keeper, so I put it into storage.
I had a gem rock today, and I took three gold nuggets to be customized at Re-Tail. Cyrus turned them into a golden chair, which is once again an item I didn’t need. This golden furniture set is taking me forever to complete.
I then went up to Main Street, where Luna told me Jemma from WolfTown was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Emporium, I bought the gorgeous wall for 99,200 bells.
After installing the wallpaper in my museum exhibit room, I did some island hopping. I still didn’t find anything I needed, but I met Phoebe from Twinleaf, who was very nice. Her badge collection was amazing and made mine look pathetic. 😛 She asked me to add her, but I didn’t have the roster space of course. I did make a quick visit to her dream town, however.
Later on this evening, I saw someone on Facebook (Avel) asking to buy or catalog a stewpot. The stewpot is an igloo item, so I didn’t think it could be ordered from the catalog. Still, I went into the Emporium to check first. To my surprise, it can be ordered! I decided I would give him my stewpot, so I went to his town to drop it off.
