At the Happy Homes Showcase today, I got a bubble wand for the first time. Well, Daisy gave me one back in September, but I mean this is the first one I’ve got from repeatedly StreetPassing someone.
Kidd was telling me how we need to make up our own events. As long as it’s not a wake-up prank on him, of course.
Aurora had asked me for some furniture that could be placed on a table. I didn’t have anything to give her at the time, but a bit later, she offered to sell me a harvest lamp.
I bought it from her, even though I probably paid more than I should have. But then I realized…this could be placed on a table. So I spoke with her again and offered it right back to her. She said it was just what she needed!
She then rewarded me with Aurora’s pic! I already had two of them, but this will go into my giveaway stash. After making my rounds, I headed up to Main Street. Luna told me that Sharon from Newquay was my most recent dream visitor. And in the post office, I deposited some money and my balance reached 10 million bells for the first time.
I made a quick visit to Tom’s town, and he had the worst camper possible.
When I returned home, I found there was some mail in my mailbox. It was a letter from the post office; my reward for saving ten million bells was this post-office poster.
It’s really a disappointing reward. The piggy bank, which you get for depositing just one million bells, is way cooler than a poster of postal pelicans.
At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Georgie and Rae came over to visit. Georgie was one angry bunny.
Unfortunately, Rae could only stay about ten minutes. But T. Zelda and Jessica soon came over. As Jessica was talking to Rolf, Georgie the bunny easily squeezed in between them.
We soon boarded a boat to the island.
Once there, we played a Kill Jeff tour? No, that’s not right.
We went on a bug-catching tour, a labyrinth tour (which was won in literally the final second–I actually thought we lost until Tortimer gave us medals), and then an elite balloon popping tour. As the timer ran out of the balloon tour, I still heard people running around and popping balloons.
The score kept going up, and then it went silent. Still, the “Game over!” banner continued scrolling across the screen.
After two or three minutes of this, we finally disconnected. That was definitely one of the more unusual disconnections I’ve seen. I reopened my gate, and Skye came over to visit, along with the returning Georgie and Jessica. Jessica made the fatal mistake of talking to an animal while I had my hammer out.
Later, Jessica went hiding somewhere. As I was looking for her, I stopped in the aquarium to see some of the sea creatures.
At some point, we got disconnected again. I reopened and Georgie returned. However, Miss Easter Bunny felt incomplete when she saw that *I* had a bunny balloon and she didn’t!
She wanted it so bad, that she offered her soul for it!
But that wasn’t enough, so I told her to make it two souls. So she owes me the soul of the next person she kills in addition to her own. Kim came over to visit and Skye returned. Forest is like a revolving door tonight, lots of visitors coming and going (even if most of the going ones are disconnections). Anyway, I informed them of the deal I just made.
We then did some stump glitching. We discovered that if two or more people are in that spot, and someone uses a tweeter, they will blow themselves out. No pushing required!
If they happen to blow themselves over a hole, they’ll fall into it like a pitfall. At one point, Kim and Georgie both tweeter’d out at the same spot (to the upper-right). Kim fell into the hole, while Georgie seemed to bounce off of Kim and ricocheted to the left and up, behind (or in?) the stump. It was pretty funny to see.
I pointed out that Georgie and Skye were both Australians. So they began discussing vegemite and marmite and whatever other -mites.
I was kind of lost, so I just tried to fit in somehow. My dad’s a computer!
Skye left shortly after that. The rest of us went to my house to hang out. Georgie asked about “the other Org.” For those who don’t know (which is probably most of you), Georgie and Jorge were two of my frequent visitors in ACCF several years ago. They both have “org” in their name, so I would call them “Org” and “Other Org.” Whoever came in my town first on any given day was Org, which made the other one “Other Org.” Anyway, I told Org that Other Org doesn’t have a 3DS so that’s why she hasn’t seen him in New Leaf.
When Org went into my creepy room, she asked who the skeleton was in the creepy coffin. My answer? Other Org.
Kim and Georgie noticed that my laugh emotion lasted unusually long one time.
I told them it’s because I took a picture. Taking a picture can extend an emotion or animation as seen by other players. I’ve noticed this before, when pouring water from my watering can one time. I was told the water kept pouring longer than usual; it’s because I was saving a pic at the time.
As you know, text bubbles are only displayed for five seconds in New Leaf. So it’s rare to have everyone say something at the same time, let alone have them all saying the same thing. But it happened tonight, although I can’t remember the exact context (help me out Kim or Georgie, haha). All I know is somehow we went from Georgie twerking to saying she has no soul. 😀
Before I knew what was happening, Georgie was trying to arrest me. And then, Kim put on a top hat. I briefly thought “Abraham Lincoln!” And then I realized she was a magician. She told Georgie bunny to get back in the hat.
We went from room to room, just goofing around. In my modern wood room, Kim put on her gyroid pattern shirt while the bunny angrily enjoyed a massage.
Upstairs, my dandruff machine made Kim speechless. If I like my ski lift covered in dandruff, it’s snow bunny’s business but mine!
After I undressed my Pavelicious mannequin, Org had to go. I let her catalog my aurora screen and then she left. I was going to sell my Festivale clothes, but Re-Tail was closed. It actually had closed two hours before that, but I was still disappointed.
I soon ended the party for the night. Thanks to everyone who came, it was a fun and crazy night. One of the best Wi-Fi nights I’ve had on New Leaf, actually. Have a great weekend, everyone!
