This morning, Joan was selling turnips for 110 bells each. That’s a little high, but I still bought 1,000 of them.
Playing with a bunch of people on Wi-Fi yesterday seems to have come back to haunt me. I saw a new house plot, and that means one of my visitors yesterday must have given me one of their rejects.
Did I want a new house plot?
Oh no no, I sure did not!
Turns out it’s Gala the pig! I don’t want her in my town, especially taking up my 10th spot! I’m the mayor here, and I’ll make sure she ends up like this! How would that be for a plot twist?
Gala is moving in almost exactly in the same spot that Teddy moved out of recently. It’s only one space to the left; you can still see the dirt patch that Teddy’s house left behind.
In the northern section of town, I spotted something curious: A new, small pink tree! I didn’t plant it, so it must have been one of my visitors yesterday! I’m guessing it was Rodney, but I’m not 100% sure. I’m not mad about it or anything, but still, I’d rather people ask before they do something like planting a tree in my town.
There was a tent over at the campsite today. “Great,” I thought. Just as I got a new villager forced on me, so I don’t have a free spot to ask them in. But the good news is that the animal inside isn’t one I would have wanted anyway: Deli the monkey. He wanted to play a game to determine how much he would pay for my Manneken Pis. I agreed to play, and he said I had to guess what he wanted to eat. He told me the color of the fruit is not red. Duh. It’s obviously got to be a banana! He gave me the options, and banana was my choice.
Naturally, it was correct, and he paid me 6,206 bells for my peeing statue.
When I left the tent, I soon figured out that I was having a bad luck day.
I kept falling on my face. Ugh.
I took the boat out to the island, and Kapp’n was tooting his own horn.
The gift shop there didn’t have anything I wanted, so I quickly returned to the mainland. I made a new pattern that fans of “Don’t Hug Me, I’m Scared” may recognize. This may refresh your memory: “I might paint a picture of a clown.” “Whoa there, friend, you might need to slow down.”
