Hanging Out at the Stump

Today, Skye tried telling me she was moving out of town on May 13th. I quickly changed her mind for her.

I went up to Main Street to do some shopping, but the stores were closed. As usual.

T&T Emporium - Hours: 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Fine. I didn’t want your crappy furniture anyway!

Over at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Alexader from Sattier was my most recent dream visitor.

And at 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Ryan came over to visit for the first time in a while (since January, I think). We hung out in my house, and he sat in between two worlds.

Ryan sitting between two globes.T. Zelda and Patty also came over to visit. T. Zelda gave me Curt’s pic, so thanks to TZ for that! Near my stump, I ate a piece of cake leftover from Valentine’s Day.

Enjoying some cake.

 T. Zelda and I were also blowing our tweeters.

Blowing tweeters.Patty told us that she had no emotions because someone reset her town and she lost everything. We felt bad for her.

Three of us using the sadness emotion.I asked if everyone wanted to go out to the island, but Patty didn’t want to stick around that long. So she left and the rest of us went out to the island. We first went on a cicada-catching tour, and we won a gold Tortimer award.

Celebrating a successful tour.I saw that the hide-and-seek tour was available, so I chose that next. It took us a couple of minutes to find all the hiding animals, but we still earned a gold Tortimer award for that tour as well. T. Zelda then picked a crab-diving tour, but before she sat down, we all got disconnected.

I had already decided to only play an hour tonight, and it was 11:00 already, so I didn’t reopen my gate. Have a good weekend, everyone!

Spring Cleaning

Katie sent me a letter thanking me for dropping her off in another town, and she included a toy camera with the letter.

I spotted Saharah walking around town, so I paid her to redecorate my house. She installed a sci-fi wall and a cheese floor. What a great combination…for a space mouse.

A sci-fi wall and a cheese floor.Back outside, Kidd was fishing in the river and he asked me to join him.

Kidd: Hey, would you like to join me in a little light fishing?Up in the museum gift shop, I saw that there was a jungle wall for sale, to celebrate the completion of the insect collection.

Celeste: This item is being sold to celebrate the amazing completion of our bug collection! Isn't that wonderful? It was only 1,600 bells, so I decided to buy it to see what it looked like. It’s not bad, but I don’t plan on using it anytime soon.

The jungle wall. And now that I’ve delivered the sci-fi set to the giveaway winner, I now had a bit of room in a museum exhibit room. So I moved my egg set up here. I know it’s not organized, but I’m mainly just using this room for storage. But it’s my gorgeous egg room!

The gorgeous and egg furniture sets. And with the egg set out of the right-side room in my house, I was finally able to return my modern wood set there. My house had been a nightmare since Easter, so it feels good to finally have it cleaned up.

My modern wood room makes a return. With that done, I updated my dream town. While I was there, Luna told me Emily from Loveland was my most recent dream visitor.

I went to shop at the Emporium and I ran into Katt once again. Her face looks like something a kid would draw on Blanca as a joke. “Look mom, I drew a scary vampire cat!”

Katt: You wanna make sure even people far away know you're wearing something cool! Purrty!

Katie vs. Phineas

Last night, my Re-Tail had a premium on perfect pears. I knew Tiffiny has a bunch of perfect pear trees, so I let her know and she came over to sell all that she had. I used a famous mushroom, but I mistimed my picture. That’s okay though, because it looks like I have a hula hoop.

Using a hula hoop? She earned a cool 3.5 million bells from selling her perfect pears, and she gave me a couple baskets of them too.

I later made a Dream Suite visit to Mark’s town Topiary.

Giant-sized Jeff by a money tree. It’s a really cool town with a spaceship/sci-fi room, a fancy bathroom, a 7/11, and lots of topiaries of course. For the dream address and lots more pics, see Dream Suite Adventures: Topiary.

Back in my town today, Kidd asked me for a cherry. I gave him a perfect cherry I got from Wendy, and he loved it. He rewarded me with…a jackhammer?

Kidd: For finding me that exquisite perfect cherry...take my jackhammer! The weird part is that Nan just gave me a steamroller yesterday. Are the goats in my town starting a construction company or something?

Over at my campsite, the penguin named Cube was camping out. He’s pretty cool.

Cube: Hey! Are you from this town? And Gala showed off her greeting that I gave her recently. It’s one I also used for Curly in ACCF once: “I’m made of ham.”

Gala: I'm made of ham!And at my southwest park, my rarely-used yellow bench actually had someone sitting on it: Skye! So I sat down next to her.

Sitting with Skye on the bench.Maybe my tulip topiary will make this part of town more popular.

♪ My topiary brings all the wolves to the park.
And they’re like…don’t make me bark. ♪

Speaking of my tulip topiary, I started putting some actual tulips around it.

My tulip topiary surrounded by tulips. The warm painting I bought from Crazy Redd turned out to be the real deal, although it looks much bigger in the museum than it did in Redd’s tent!

The warm painting on display in the museum.I updated my dream town at the Dream Suite, and Luna told me David from Hometown was my most recent dream visitor.

At 6:00, I dropped off the sci-fi set to the giveaway winner, Kyle from Tennakia. Congrats once again, Kyle. I hope you enjoy the set!

Delivering the prize to Kyle. After returning home, Skye told me recently saw a picture of a beautiful frog.

Skye: The other day, I saw a picture of a frog. It's the most beautiful fish in the world!I assume it wasn’t Jambette.

Jambette.I caught a frog for Skye and she thanked me by giving me a jungle-camo shirt.

Later, Molly tried to tell me she was moving out on May 11th. I quickly denied her request. I don’t plan on ever letting Molly, Rolf, Agent S, or Aurora move out of town.

In the northeast part of town, I caught a picture of the train starting to cross the bridge.

The train crossing the bridge.Copper was telling me Phineas was in town. But Copper is a lying dog. I searched my town about seven times and looked everywhere. Phineas was absolutely not in town. But Katie was. In fact, when I called for Phineas on the megaphone, Katie often answered. Katie’s presence was preventing Phineas from appearing.

So I made a deal with Hayden from Bingham. If she let me dump off Katie at her town, I’d let her sell her turnips at my town (at a price of 260 bells apiece). She agreed to the deal, and I took Katie to Bingham.

Katie: OK, I'm gonna go see what Bingham is all about! So long, friend!I then opened my gate, and Hayden came over to sell her turnips.

Hayden sells turnips at Re-Tail.Getting rid of Katie did the trick. After Hayden left, Phineas answered to his name over the megaphone and I quickly tracked him down. He gave me the Prof. of Entomology badge for catching every type of insect.

I got the Prof. of Entomology badge! Everyone agrees I'm a bug specialist! As for all those times Copper told me Phineas was in town when he wasn’t? Well, Copper’s going to need to pass a vision test if he wants to keep his badge.
