Sprinkle Moves In

Sprinkle the penguin moved in today, and I went in her house to introduce myself. It turns out we had already met, though; she came from Wendy’s town. So she wasn’t a StreetPass villager after all.

Sprinkle: Uh...are you, like, my roommate? Just kidding! It's me, Sprinkle! We've met before, Jeff! And with my town full again, that means it’s time for a camper! Agnes the pig was over at the campsite. However, I wouldn’t have wanted to ask her to move in anyway. One pig in town is more than enough.

Agnes: I basically picked Forest out of a hat when I was looking for a place to camp. But it worked out great!Saharah was also in town, so I hired her and we headed to my house. I stopped to sit on the bench next to Kidd, and the impatient Saharah stuck her face right in my business.

Saharah rudely gets in our faces.I also dragged Saharah over by Re-Tail, where Rolf proceeded to sell me a vacuum cleaner.

Rolf: I know this is a bad habit, but when I see a vacuum cleaner, I gotta buy!I finally let the camel do her thing (it is hump day after all), and she installed a blue tarp and a slate flooring in my house.

A blue tarp and slate flooring.I didn’t care for her handiwork. I usually don’t, of course, but hiring her is necessary to get her exclusive walls and carpets. Back outside, she somehow thought that I liked what she did to the place.

Saharah: You are liking my handiwork? Oh yes, I can smell your confidence. She said my confidence smelled like soup? What a strange camel.

Saharah: Smells like soup. After I was done with my daily walk, I went up to Main Street. I checked the shops and updated my dream town. Luna told me that Cherry from Rosehill was my most recent dream visitor.

Stop the Plots!

It was raining quite heavily in Forest today. Kidd wasn’t very happy about the downpour, but I was.

Kidd: It's going to just keep raining on us until night, isn't it, dearie? Don't answer. I know, kidd.As you probably know, I just got Frank’s goodbye letter in the mail yesterday. And already, there’s a new house plot in town! This is so annoying! I may never get a chance to ask a camper to move in since my town always fills up with random move-ins right away. The new house plot is right in front of the Roost. It took out a tree or two, but at least it didn’t land on any of my paths.

The new house plot. The house belongs to Sprinkle. Wendy and Patty both visited yesterday, so she might be from one of their towns. Or she could be a StreetPass villager. I don’t know yet.

This spot reserved for Sprinkle's new home. -Nook's HomesI didn’t know who Sprinkle was, but she’s apparently a light blue, peppy penguin. I would have rather kept Frank if I knew this was going to happen.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that George from Wetstone was my most recent dream visitor. After completing my shopping run, I gave away a nice painting to khaleesi.

Jeff and Khaleesi. After giving her the painting, she quickly ended the party and I returned home and ended my game for the day.

Some of you may remember Yann, who was a frequent City Folk visitor that I’ve mentioned in previous ACCF blog entries. She recently got New Leaf too. I haven’t played with her yet, but you’ll probably start seeing her in this blog before too long.

Celebration Hat

Last night, Wendy let me stop over at her town to sell some perfect peaches. I sold 12 baskets of them and earned 324,000 bells.

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 324,000 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you?Her town is coming together nicely. She has flowers lining most of her paths already, and she has bushes outside of her house.

Wendy's house. She was in the process of building the cafe, and I went over to talk to Lloid. But when I did, I found that I was talking to Daisy instead! She was hidden behind the tree (until I pressed the talk button, of course), so I was quite surprised!

Daisy: So, how can I help you?Wendy needed signatures for a petition, so we headed over to Forest for a while. As she went around asking my villagers to sign away their souls the petition, I went looking for some furniture for Big Top. I saw a lovely moth outside of Re-Tail, so I caught that and gave it to him.

Big Top: Nice! Thanks for this moth!He told me he would treat it well, and he gave me a green bed in return.

Big Top: I'll treat the moth as if it were you, ham, and raise it well! After Wendy was done, I ended the party for the night. Then today, I got Frank’s goodbye letter in the mail. He did not attach his picture to the letter, since I really didn’t have enough time to befriend him.

Frank's goodbye letter.I opened my gate briefly, and Patty stopped by to say hello.

Patty drops by for a visit.I deposited my money from the peaches last night, and my bank account balance topped 16 million bells.

I was falling on my face today, and I think even Katt was laughing at me!

Face-planting on Main Street. So I went into Katrina’s shop to see what she can do to improve my luck. She told me I needed a long-sleeve shirt. But she said it was no problem if I didn’t have one, because she would sell me a special charm for 10,000 bells that would give me good fortune.

Katrina: And as it happens, the stars have declared that you, yes, you... are worthy of owning such a thing.I handed over the bells for the charm, and she gave me a celebration hat.

Katrina: As long as you wear this special celebration hat, all luck will flow the way you wish. I think...It didn’t exactly look good on me, but it kept me from falling.

Wearing the celebration hat.Wendy came over again tonight to sell some pears. Of course she had to bad-mouth my hat, saying it looked like a red pie on my head.

Wendy sells pears as I stand nearby in my celebration hat.I took the hat off, but Wendy put her blue Pikmin hat on.

Jeff: Pikwen. After doing a little glitching, I ended the party for the night.
