Silent Night

As expected, Gulliver sent me a model of Big Ben in the mail today.

And by request, here is the QR code of my current frosty ice brick path, with the slightly rounded corners. It’s also been added to the QR Codes section.

Molly: Hi there, cowboy! Snowy nights are just so magical, waddle.I made a trip up to Main Street, and in the Dream Suite, Luna told me Halle from 26 Land was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I had a StreetPass home of someone who had this customized trunk with the Union Jack on it. I wonder if they recently visited the United Kingdom.

The Union Jack on a customized trunk.Back in town, Rolf asked me for a blowfish. It didn’t take me long once I got to the ocean; I caught one on just my second try! Rolf thanked me and gave me a frog shirt as my reward.

Rolf: Whoa! Thanks! You're the best!Since it’s been snowing a lot, and I think it will continue like this for a while, I’ve decided to switch back to the Night Owl ordinance. This will give me a chance to do some shopping more often. At the regular hours, the shops are often closed before I get up there. The ordinance will go into effect tomorrow. I just need to remember to start watering my flowers again, on the days that it doesn’t snow.

Isabelle: Then it's official! The ordinance will go into effect tomorrow morning! For those of you that play Tomodachi Life, I just wanted to let you know that I recently made a Mii of the Animal Crossing Villager. If you’d like to see him (or add him to your Tomodachi Life game), check out this Tomodachi Life blog entry.

Not much else happened tonight. But it’s nice to just relax, watch the snow fall, and enjoy a silent night every once in a while. I’ll see you all next time.

Resetti’s Picture

Tonight I found Resetti’s manhole open once again. So I did my best Santa Claus impression and jumped down.

Resetti's open manhole.Resetti seemed to think that I was interested in his line of work. No, I don’t want to harass people who are just playing a game.

Resetti: Not shy in the least, are ya?! You interested in my line of work or somethin'?But then he said I couldn’t do it anyway…because I’m not a mole! How rude!

Resetti: Only moles need apply, if you get my meaning?! Gah ha ha ha!But he got back on my good side by giving me his picture!

Resetti: This here's a picture of yours truly. I don't really get why, but seems like you've taken a shine to me.I returned home to take a look at it. Resetti’s favorite quote is “Earthquakes, thunder, fires, and fathers.” I’m wondering if that’s a list of excuses he hears from people who “accidentally” reset their games.

Two decorated cedar trees.I found the daily snowballs and pushed them together to make a perfect snowmam. Even though I may build some bingo snowmen at some point soon, the snowmams will be my focus. It provides the best opportunity for making money.

Snowmam: Oh my! I wonder who made this perfectly sculpted figure of mine!A bit later, the northern lights started appearing in the sky over Forest.

The northern lights over my museum.I stopped at the Dream Suite to update my dream town, and Luna told me that Grace from Aquoise was my most recent dream visitor. I then returned to town and enjoyed the northern lights from several different locations.

Gulliver: I'm going there, but I'll need to make sure I don't fall off London Bridge! You know me and water! Before wrapping up my game for the night, I took one last picture of the northern lights from the beach.

Sunday Snowy Sunday

This morning, Big Top tried to tell me he was moving out of town on December 19th. Not so fast, big guy…

Big Top: Oh, Mr. J! Don't freak out, but I'm planning on moving away on the 19th of this month. When I found Joan, she was selling turnips for 109 bells each. I believe that’s the maximum amount she can charge…ouch. So much for a holiday discount. I bought 3,000 turnips from her.

Joan: The asking price is 109 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo? The Able Sisters finally had a Santa hat on sale, so I bought it to complete my Santa suit.

Buying the Santa hat to complete my outfit.
Does it make me look like a ho ho ho?

I also got my frosty ice brick pattern out of storage and used it as my path. The first version of that path is available on the QR Codes – Paths page, but I’ve added a white pixel to each corner to make the bricks look a bit rounded.

When I found the two snowballs in town today, I decided to build another snowmam. Even though my first one is still around, today is her last day in this world. The new snowmam talked about how I made her well, but she still wasn’t perfect. So she requires five snowflakes for ice furniture. Bummer.

Snowmam: I'm very pleased you made me with such beauty and refinement!Rolf asked me for an ocean fish, so I went down to the sea to find him a fishy. I caught an olive flounder…good enough. I took it back to him and he rewarded me with a tropical tank! We’re in the middle of a blizzard, dude, I can’t wear this! You have a fur coat, so you could get away with it, but I can’t!

Rolf: Oh, right. I need to thank you! Please take my fancy tropical tank!I noticed I hadn’t seen much of Kabuki lately, so I went to see what was up with him. Turns out that he’s sick! Fortunately, the shop was still open, so I bought some medicine for him. Get well soon!

Kabuki: ...Thanks for that, bucko... Meooo-OH...
