Pete met me outside my house today to deliver a letter from Nintendo.
It included an item called a hagoita; I’ll show a picture of it in a moment. But first, I headed to the event plaza. Isabelle was there, and I noticed that the northern lights were shining overhead as well.
Isabelle wished me a happy new year and gave me a zodiac goat to celebrate the year of the sheep.
There was also a face-cutout standee for New Year’s Day. I stuck my head through it, and it looked like I was trying to warm my hands in the blast of a giant firecracker. Probably not the best idea.
I then returned home to take a look at my new items, which I put on my ice table. The zodiac goat is on the left and the hagoita is on the right. The goat is a bobblehead, just like the zodiac horse and paper tiger I have in my sleek room.
Outside, each villager would wish me a happy new year. Although Agent S tried to be clever by wishing me a sad old day instead.
Drago told me he almost missed 2015 altogether. I think he’s a bit confused.
After rolling a snowman’s eyes, I got a #40. That gave me a triple ding, meaning I’m one number away from a bingo in three different ways. The snowman says a triple ding is actually more rare than a bingo itself, but I don’t believe him. I remember triple dings being pretty common from all my bingo adventures last winter.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Alfredo from Smithson was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, Ian from Xereo gave me a tweeter.
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope 2015 is your best year yet! 🙂
