Yesterday was the 2-year anniversary of the American release of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I’d like to thank all of you who still keep up with this blog, even after two years. I hope your towns are all going well. 🙂
Daisy approached me last night and told me she wanted to move out of town on June 14th. Tough luck, dog. You’re not going anywhere; I installed an invisible fence around this town!
At the campsite, I found Lyman the green koala. I think he’s kind of weird, but he’s not as bad as some koalas in the game…don’t worry, I won’t name any names, Eugene.
Saharah was in town, and she put in this dotted wall and backyard lawn.
I went on a few island tours with Merka, but I had to stop when I had a circle pad malfunction.
My original circle pad has been gone for a while now: First the rubber part wore off, and then the plastic part underneath broke apart piece by piece. All that was left was a tiny nub maybe half the width of a pencil. I bought some circle pad covers and super-glued one of them onto the nub. But after about a month, it came off. I re-super-glued it today though, so for the moment, all is well once again.
I had a chat with Rolf near my bridge tonight, and he said he felt like the town tree is watching us! It won’t leaf us alone!
When I updated my dream town, Luna told me that Megan from Newfluff was my most recent dream visitor.
I finished up my night with some more island tours. I went on the advanced-price fishing tour three times. You need to catch 40,000 bells worth of fish to earn a gold Tortimer award and 12 medals, and it was quite an easy feat. Because most fish that appear in the tour are so valuable, on average, I only needed to catch about five fish to earn gold.
As a reminder, Friday Night Forest is this week. For people already on my 3DS roster, I’ll be opening my gate on Friday around 10 p.m. Eastern time (7 p.m. Pacific). Hope to see you then!
