Tom’s Lost Book

Yesterday, Re-Tail was paying 136 bells for turnips. That’s not a big amount, but this late in the week, I’m just trying not to lose money. So I sold all of my turnips at that price.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 136 bells.Putting my turnip money into the bank kicked my balance above the 44 million bell mark.

Your current balance is 44,170,000 bells.Kabuki was still sick, so I took him some more drugs.

Kabuki takes some medicine.Today, Tom told me that he recently had a dream about Zooey from Whitby. He said she was a real stump maker.

Tom: That reminds me! I recently had a dream involving Zooey from over in Whitby.Saharah was in town, and she put in a rose wall and a stripe carpet…not a good combination.

A rose wall and stripe carpet.I went out to the island tonight and I went on the advanced price-fishing tour. It gives 12 medals for each session (if you earn gold, which is easy), so I did it seven times.

Tortimer: WHOA! You're a master angler! You've earned a Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals! When I returned, I found a lost item (a book) on the beach.

Finding a lost item on the beach. It didn’t take me long to find its owner: Tom.  He thanked me for returning it, and he gave me a bird feeder as my reward. But don’t you need this to catch your meals?

Tom: I gotta thank you, so here. Take my bird feeder with you as a thank you!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Beth from Appleby was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by, Beth!

Forking Over a Fine Moth

I got a letter from Gulliver in the mail; it contained a Kinderdijk windmill from the Netherlands. Free gifts are always nice, so it was a win-wind situation.

It was raining again today; I’m loving the rainy season! Daisy thought it was a bit gloomy, but she entertains herself by spinning her umbrella. Or so she says. She didn’t actually prove it to me.

Daisy: On gloomy, rainy days, walking around and spinning my umbrella really lifts my spirits.Later on tonight, Dizzy told me he was hungry for a nut!

Dizzy: Yay! My appetite is ready and waiting, for a nut!Actually he wanted some fruit, so I gave him a perfect orange. He wolfed it down, and he loved it! He rewarded me by giving me a regal clock.

Dizzy: Woohoo!Rolf had his eye on a moth in my pocket, and he offered to trade me a canary shirt for it. I didn’t particularly want the shirt, but to get anything in exchange for a moth is a good deal!

Rolf: How about forking over your fine moth for a clean, even, mutually beneficial trade?Kabuki was sick with a cold today, so I bought some medicine for him. Get well soon, kitty cat.

A Damp Tuesday

It was raining in Forest today, and as usual, Molly was enjoying the moisture.

Molly: Animal Quackers! If you go jumping into puddles, be sure to dry off later, ducky.Daisy was also enjoying the rain, although she seemed to care more about how the rain was going to make the town all nice and clean.

Daisy: This rain is going to make the town all clean and shiny, it's ruff!I found Gulliver washed up on the beach, with wrinkled wing tips?

Gulliver: The tips of my wings are wrinkled like sad, depressed seaweed. He was talking about windmills; he’ll be blowing into the Netherlands tomorrow.

I took a trip out to the island, where I went on the elite market-price-bug hunt tour. Catching 40,000 bells worth of bugs earned me twelve medals.

Tortimer: That's enough to net you a Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Eero from Arigany was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Jordon from Forest.
