Supporting Cally’s Decision

This morning, Reese was paying 126 bells apiece for turnips, so I sold all that I had. Not a huge profit, but at least I made a little money this week. It seems like I’m due for a big week, though.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 126 bells. When I put my turnip money into my bank account, my balance topped 47 million bells.

Your current balance is 47,170,000 bells.Daisy reminded me that the Bug-Off competition is tomorrow. I may not be able to participate, but thanks for the reminder, Daisy!

Daisy: Don't forget about the Bug-Off tomorrow! When I spoke with Aurora, she told me some great news: Cally is moving out of town soon!

Aurora: I was talking to Cally not long ago, and she mentioned she was thinking about moving...Still, I wanted to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. So I trapped her until she was ready to ping me. It took a while, but eventually she told me the news.

Callyl: It may seem sudden, but I'll be moving away on the 22nd of this month.I fully supported her decision. I’m such a good friend. I wanted to let her know she made the right choice, so I expressed my joy support with a little dance.

And I just want to let you all know that I’ve made a new page about Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, which comes out in September. I list some general information about the game, share my thoughts, and embed a few videos (including the trailer and a couple of gameplay videos). Once the game comes out, I’ll also post blog-style updates there too.

Have a good weekend, everyone. I’ll see you next time!

Dizzy is Still Partying

I recently visited the official dream town of Nintendo of Korea (dream address 0000-1066-6865). It seemed similar to the other official Nintendo towns, but there wasn’t as much to see. For example, there was only one house. But I did like the Animal Crossing patterns on display here.

Celeste: That is a museum chair!Saharah was in town today, and I paid her 3,000 bells for this autumn wall and concrete floor.

Autumn wall and concrete floor. When I visited Dizzy, I saw that Tom was also hanging out at his house. I guess Dizzy was having a post-birthday party party. 😛

Dizzy: Now that you and Tom are here, it's a party, for a nut!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Brooklyn from Lakewood was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Lacey from Kokiro. Thanks for stopping by!

Dizzy’s Birthday

Today is Dizzy’s birthday, so I stopped in to pay him a visit. His fellow elephant Big Top was also there to help him celebrate.

Dizzy: I'm so happy you're here to celebrate my birthday with me!I gave him a customized kokeshi doll as a birthday present. He seemed a bit surprised at first, but then he called it an awesome present.

Dizzy: A kokeshi doll?! Whoa! I did NOT expect this.I didn’t stay long, since there’s not much to do here. But Dizzy said it was his best birthday ever. That’s pretty impressive, considering elephants never forget. 😛 (They never forget bad gifts, either!)

Dizzy: Thanks for coming today, and thanks for the present. You made this the best birthday ever!Katie the annoying pest was in town today. This is all Merka’s fault. I should start using the word “Merka” as a swear word every time I see Katie. 😛

Katie: Oh hey, it's the mayor guy again! It's me, remember? Katie!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Logan from Chester was my most recent dream visitor.

And by request, I made a QR code of my green path pattern with rounded corners on the bricks. I’ve also added it to the New Leaf QR Codes page.
