Jeff the Flower Killer

Last night, I gave Dizzy his time capsule back. Inside, there was a red tie-dye tee and a letter.

Dizzy: Wow! A red tie-dye tee! I completely forgot about this!In the letter, Dizzy told himself that the shirt had a stain that he couldn’t remove. He hoped that by the future, better stain-removing technology would exist so that he could get it out. But instead, he gave the stained shirt to me as my reward for returning the time capsule. Wow, this must be my lucky day.

Dizzy: Promise me you'll take care of the red tie-dye tee, OK?And then today, I found a lost book over by the modern clock.

I picked up a lost item!I soon reunited the book with its owner, Molly. She thanked me for returning it and she rewarded me with a dawn tee.

Molly: Oh! This is the book I lost! I thought it was gone for good!Up at the Dream Suite, I updated my dream town. Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Roisin from Rainbow. Yesterday’s visitor was Nic from Swampy’s.

Tonight, I opened my gate around 10:00 p.m. for Friday Night Forest. Nobody came in right away, but I kept playing the game regardless. I started removing some extra flowers from around town. Other than the flowers lining my paths (and some near the park areas), I really don’t need all these extras. So I began cleaning up.

A bunch of holes on the ground after I dug up a bunch of flowers.I only had a few available spots in my pockets, so it was easier and quicker to kill them with a shovel than pick them all up and sell them.

Also, I’m actually getting close to having all of the roses I need to line all my paths! Many of them are still black roses at the moment, but once the snow starts falling, I’ll change my town ordinance back to night owl. That will allow my flowers to wilt, giving me the opportunity to turn my black roses into gold roses.

Once the time reached 10:35 and still nobody had come over to visit, I decided to close my gate and wrap up my night. When I spoke to Daisy though, she told me she was planning on leaving town on November 18th. Of course, I made her change her mind. (I put up an invisible dog fence around her house). 😛

Daisy: I'm leaving town on the 18th of this month. For those who have been wondering, I will be getting Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, but probably not until next week. I will not be making a separate blog for it, since a board game isn’t well suited to regular updates. But I will have one entry on Jeff’s Gaming Blog with my first impressions of the game. I’ll also upload a video of the game and eventually I’ll have a review as well. So stay tuned to JVGS for Animal Crossing updates!

Thanks for stopping by, everyone. And have a good weekend! I’ll see you next time.

Showcase Flowers

Yesterday, Dizzy told me he wanted to move out of town on November 15th. Of course, I made him stay.

Dizzy: Don't freak out, but I'm planning on moving away on the 15th of this month.Deli the monkey was camping in the campsite. I think he would drive me bananas if he lived in town.

Deli: I'm here camping in town, so you'll be seeing me around for a bit! While up in the Happy Homes Showcase, I noticed that each area of homes has a different flower color. For example, the flowers in the left section are all red.

Red flowers in the Happy Homes Showcase. The middle (top) section has white flowers and the right section has yellow flowers. These colors are also represented near the entrance to each area from the starting point.

The entrance to the three sections of the Happy Homes Showcase.Today, I saw a dig spot in the northwest corner of town. Thinking it was either a fossil or gyroid, I dug it up. I quickly discovered that it was actually Dizzy’s time capsule that I buried a couple weeks ago. Oops!

Accidentally digging up a time capsule.Unfortunately, the game would not let me bury it again! I already know not to open it up, but I guess I’m going to be stuck with it for a while. Hopefully Dizzy will ask for it soon.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Sabrina from Abstruse was my most recent dream visitor.

Reminder: It’s Friday Night Forest week! I’ll be opening my gate for my 3DS friends on Friday night around 10pm Eastern Standard Time.

Goat Storm Caller

On Saturday morning, Reese was offering 107 bells for turnips. I sold all that I had for a small profit. When I put my money into the bank, my balance topped 54 million bells.

Your current balance is 54,380,000 bells.Later on, Pete met me outside my house with a letter from Nintendo. I thought it must be time for another Nintendo Zone DLC item, but that wasn’t the case. It was just an ad for Happy Home Designer!

Nook's Homes is looking for staff with a vision in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.I didn’t buy any turnips for this week.

Today, Pashmina told me she recently read a book called Goat Storm Caller. She wondered if she had the superpowers to call a storm. What an en-lightning conversation.

Pashmina: I read this book called Goat Storm Caller. It was sooooo cool!Gulliver was down on the beach, but he didn’t want to be bothered.

Gulliver: STAY AWAY FROM ME!He mentioned Niagara Falls, aurora borealis, and maple syrup. He was headed off to Canada, and he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.

Rolf asked me for an ocean fish, so I caught a sea horse for him. He seemed to like it.

Rolf: What? A sea horse?! Awesome! He thanked me by giving me a blue-bar tee.

My recent dream visitors have been Timber from Xing (Saturday), Aline from Marbella (yesterday), and Awen from Daylily (today). Thanks for stopping by, everyone!
