Belgian Flag

Molly approached me today and told me she was moving out of town on March 28th. Silly ducky, you’re not going anywhere. So I clipped her wings.

Molly: Maybe it isn't the right time to move after all. Thanks for helping me realize that.I deposited some money into my bank account, and my balance reached the 65 million bell mark.

Dizzy was still sick today, so I bought some medicine for him once again. Get well soon, big guy.

Dizzy takes his medicine.Peck told me that he recently had a chat with Shell from Shellton. I’d like to see if Shell sells seashells in Shellton. Peck said she’s a fishing expert.

Peck: So I talked to Shell from Shellton the other day!

After finally remembering to change my eye color back to blue, I made a new pattern: It’s the flag of Belgium.

The flag of Belgium on display on town hall.If you’d like to use it, feel free to scan this. I’ve also added it to the QR Codes page here at JVGS.

My recent dream visitors have been Tommy from Tomville (no relation to Tom41 from Tomville), Siobhan from L.A., Xavier from Quigley, Troy from Football, and Lumina from Worthsee. Thanks for visiting, and I’ll see you all next time!

Velma’s Pic

Velma is gone now, and I got her goodbye letter in the mail yesterday. I was happy to find Velma’s pic attached to the letter!

Velma's goodbye letter. The quote on Velma’s pic is “Work smarter, not harder.” I believe this is my 21st villager picture (not counting special characters or duplicates).

Velma's pic: Work smarter not harder.Dreaming of Clambake

I made a dream visit to Mkay’s town of Clambake (dream address 5100-4022-5551). It’s a pretty town; I especially liked the fountain surrounded by clovers.

The fountain area in Clambake. There are a lot of trees in Clambake, so it feels like a forest. I stopped to rest (and enjoy the view) at the metal bench near the river. It’s a serene, peaceful place.

Back In Forest

And then today, it was raining in Forest. Rolf said I probably didn’t care if it was rain or broccoli falling from the sky! Yes, I care! I don’t want to clean up a bunch of broccoli all over town! And I know Rolf sure isn’t going to eat any veggies!

Rolf: Heh. I bet you don't even care whether what's falling from the sky is rain or broccoli, tiger.

Velma’s exit opened up a new spot for a former villager to appear on Main Street. And I spotted Kidd there tonight! It’s good to see him once again!

Kidd: Oh! What a surprise... Nice to see you again, Jeff!So I lost a goat in town, but gained one on Main Street. Anyway, I stopped in the Dream Suite and Luna told me that Gabriel from Notebook was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Morgan from Bakewell.

Dizzy was sick with a cold, so I bought some medicine for him. He flipped as he gulped it down…and yet, I’m still not sure exactly what I’m looking at in this picture. His lower half looks a bit angular, if I’m seeing things right.

Dizzy flips for medicine.

Velma’s Goodbye

Today was Velma’s last day living in town, so I made sure to say goodbye to her.

Velma: I'll think of you often! OK, get out of here quickly before I start crying...
Oops, too late.

After changing my hair back at Shampoodle, I went diving in the ocean. I caught a scallop, and that triggered Pascal to pop up and demand it from me. If he’s already underwater, why doesn’t he catch one himself? I gave him the scallop and he left me a barrel in exchange. He also had some words for me, although this wasn’t exactly his usual wise advice.

Pascal: Ever seen a whale sneeze? Maaan, you are missing out!Merka let me go to her town Bribs to sell some perfect peaches. I had 30 baskets altogether, and I sold them for a total of 810,000 bells. Thanks, Merka!

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 432,000 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you? While I was there, I had a chat with my former villager Drago. He asked what was new in Forest, and I told him we have bread-eating contests now.

Drago: Huh?! Bread-eating contests?! We didn't have any of that back when I lived there!
That’s what you get for leaving.

I wanted to speak with Kidd too, but he wasn’t home and I didn’t see him around anywhere. But Merka and I went out to the island for a couple tours.

Tortimer: That's enough to net you a Gold Tortimer award and 8 medals!Once we earned enough for the gold awards, I got an axe from Lloid and starting chopping down trees.

Chopping down a tree as an island tour ends.
Timber!

After we were done, I put my peach money into the bank. My account balance topped 64.7 million bells.

Later on, Elliott came over to adopt Velma.

Me and Elliott in Velma's house.Velma confirmed that she’s moving to Forest. Wait, you’re already in Forest! Elliott’s town is also named Forest, so maybe Velma can keep her same address labels.

Velma: Chap! Did you know I'm moving to Forest?I hope you enjoy having Velma in your town, Elliott! And good luck to Velma on her new adventure! Just a bit of trivia: It’s been six months since a Forest resident has moved out of town: Tom (unexpectedly) left town back on September 13th.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Evan from Michael was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend, everyone!
