I’ve decided to keep the gold roses in my desert area, at least for now. But I have changed the color of the yellow bricks to blend in a bit better with the color of the sand.
I had a chat with Rolf the other night, and I don’t even remember what I said to him. But whatever it was, it really set him off.
Saharah was in town yesterday, and she installed this modern wood wall and chessboard rug in my house.
Agent S was resting on the bench, and she wanted me to keep her company. It was one of those rare moments when I could actually see her eyes through her helmet.
And today, of course, is St. Patrick’s Day. It’s known as Shamrock Day in the game though, and Isabelle could be found wearing green at the event plaza.
She gave me a shamrock hat and insisted that I wear it, so I tried it on. The animals in town will all comment on the hat when you speak to them.
There’s also a face-cutout standee for the holiday at the event plaza. I be a jeffrechaun, and this be me golden bowl of Lucky Charms. Oh wait, I guess a leprechaun shouldn’t sound like a pirate.
I found a lost baggie on the ground and it contained some smuggled shamrocks! Well maybe not; I didn’t actually look inside the bag. But I reunited it with its owner, Molly. She thanked me by giving me her picture.
I hope you all have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This is a great day to visit the dream town of Shamrock (dream address 6E00-0026-F069) if you’re in the mood for the color green, four-leaf clovers, and pots of gold. 😛
My recent dream visitors have been Carol from Paradise, Troy from Football, Elliott from Forest, Dorian from Crowbeak, and Pru from Pipton. Thank you all for visiting! I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow as I say goodbye to Velma. See you then!
Velma approached me today and told me she was planning on moving out of town on March 18th. I thought about it for a moment, and I decided to let her go. Even though I still need some snooty PWP suggestions, I feel like my town has become stagnant with no villager movement in six months. I’ll be sure to get another snooty villager at some point in the future.
Sparro was camping out at the campsite, and I went inside the tent to say hello. He’s not someone I would necessarily want in my town, and of course my town is still full anyway. But once Velma is gone, it will be nice to have the ability to invite a camper to move in. It’s been so long…
Peck was talking about how gyroids appear on days after it has rained. But the way he was talking, he made it sound like they were zombies that come to life and rise up from the ground!
After forcing Velma to overpay for my junk wonderful products, she seemed to regret the purchase! But then she talked herself out of feeling too bad about it.
I have finally decided to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time: I put my sand pattern in the Egypt/desert area where my pyramid and Sphinx are. Hopefully Rolf won’t think the sand is his own personal litterbox.
I’m not sure if I should leave the gold roses there, or if I should remove them for more sand. Any thoughts?
At any rate, here is my sand pattern if you’d like to use it. I’ve also added it to the QR Codes page.
My recent dream visitors have been Jasper from Sunville, Michelle from Harmony, and Matthew from Newleaf. Thanks for stopping by!
I recently changed my town tune again, this time to the song Clocks by Coldplay. Here are the notes if you’re interested in using it.
Cole the black rabbit was camping out in my town today.
At 10:00 tonight, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Beth and Gen both showed up. This was Gen’s first time in Forest, and Beth told me it was her first time here too! That surprised me, because it wasn’t quite true (ahem).
Anyway, Gen and I were blowing bubbles at each other…and at Beth. I suppose you could call this a Bubble Beth.
After a little while, Merka also came over to visit–so I had a full house. Gen went up to shop on Main Street, while Merka fell in a pitfall.
Of course Merka blamed me for the pitfall (as if I would do such a thing! 😛 ), but it was actually Gen that planted it there.
Merka and I started having a bean fight, and her beans were lagging. They were shooting out different directions from where she was facing.
That lag wasn’t the only problem we were having tonight; we got disconnected twice, and I had to re-open (and then re-re-open) my gate. Merka ended up in the same pitfall a second time. Although this time, I may have given her a little push. 😛
We talked a bit about Merka’s pet tree Scott (I wondered if he barks), and without warning, Gen randomly left town. She didn’t say goodbye or anything, which is always a bit odd when someone does that.
After Beth and I ate some famous mushrooms, we all went over to my house. Merka and I kept leaving a room as the other was entering it, and it took us several tries to find each other. 😛
Once we were done in there, we went out to the island for some tours. We didn’t do very good at the fishing tours, but at least we aced the gardening tour!
Our last tour of the night was an ore hunting tour. The secret ore turned out to be the emerald, which I almost found hard to believe because I found three of them. But those were the only three in the whole tour. So I ended up winning that tour. 😛
We returned to the mainland, and while we were all near the dock, I glitched off of the dock. To Merka and Beth, they saw me swimming in mid-air. They weren’t expecting to see that, so they were quite surprised. But from my perspective, I was just swimming in the water–without a wet suit.
They also joined in the glitching fun; Beth glitched into the ocean like I did, while Merka glitched onto Kapp’n’s boat.
After that, we decided to take our glitching superpowers to the tracks. I was the first one to reach the rails, so I acted as Beth’s and Merka’s exercise instructor.
We ran east to the bridge.
We glitched down again, and we were trying to then get down into the void. Beth, who took the longest getting onto the tracks initially, was the fastest to make the final plunge.
I eventually got down there too, and I found myself under my town. By using a net, you can see where exactly you are. But unfortunately, Merka had to go…and she was unable to get back to the gate to leave. So I had to end the session before I could explore much. Even though I have explored like that before, it’s probably been two years or so. So I’ll have to give it another try sometime.
Thanks to Gen, Beth, and Merka for coming tonight. It was fun!
My recent dream visitors have been Angelina from Move Rd, Finnius from Aquarius, Troy from Football, and Kayla from Oz. Thank you all for visiting! And I hope you all have a good weekend!
